Hotel Athena is a nice hotel 15 minutes walk away to old town and 5 minutes walk to bus station to other parts of the island. Hotel is close to Elli beach. Our room was simle but very well decorated. But if you are old enough to need a quit place, this hotel is not you are looking for. There... More

We booked a day let as we had an evening flight home. Don't expect too much and it is well located to walk into the old town, have a good lunch then back for a swim and shower before heading off. I cant review based on overnight stay but would suggest it suits a young adult market.

The hotels location is good and the rooms are in good condition. The breakfast was pretty average. Our room had a nicely effective air condition and huge balcony. What we didn't like about this hotel, and why we might not chose it next time is the noise levels. There are MANY young Scandinavians especially Swedish 15-18 years who come to... More

Good looking and placed, but that management ruined everything. Do not go here, just don't. One old man is running the whole thing and constantly overbooking the hotel. After day 1 he is going to try and find excuses to throw you out, because he already got new ones for your room.

it is on a very noisy street and the hotel itself is very noisy as all teenagers are accomodating at this hotel. They are having parties in the rooms at nights and getting drunk and shouting and kicking the doors etc. it is impossible to sleep at nights. all furnishing are wornout and smelling moldy.

The hotel is the typical low cost/ low service beach hotel to host loads of nordic sun-seekers or party teenagers.... the bedroom is just OK, quality of breakfast is low but quantity OK, service low cost, wifi not always working, bathroom is old and simple.... I did pay low price to be here, so I'm not so dissapointed. But I... More

This is a pretty traditional-looking beach resort hotel in the Mediterranean area. It is located near the "windy beach" and "party district" so everything is near if one desires sun bathing, swimming in the sea and staying up late in the bars and restaurants nearby. Don't expect to meet many local people in the area. Mostly the people you are... More

Hotel was looking old, rooms were small and not suitable to accommodate 4 persons. Receptionist were not very friendly. Breakfast was poor and by 7th day didn't feel eatable. Only positive thing was location, near the center and walking distance from Old Town.

Hotel ok, rooms a little tired, the walls were like paper, short walk to beach, strange internet system, noisy street and nights.. Poor breakfast, the same all week.. Nice and helpful staff. But holiday was great.

We have stayed at this Hotel twice now. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The ladies on reception are very nice and the two bartenders Miquel and States (Stattis) are absolutely wonderful. They make you so welcome. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned everyday Including the day you are leaving if you are leaving later on in afternoon.... More
