We always stay in the Mandilara area of the new town, and having tried most of the hotels (and reviewed them) on here the Athena is definitely the best. Location was good, although staff were very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful, even speaking greek to them made no difference. It was ok accomodation, but I was happy to be out of there after 3 long nights!
