An excellent hotel for the money. It's only real let down is the small swimming pool area, but who cares it's 2 minutes walk from the beach! If it was on the beach and had a bigger pool area it would definitely be classed as 5*. Those that say it isn't up to this standard, what do you expect? You... more

The hotel is very nice located, you can reach everything by feet (both beach and sightseeing highlights). The staff is very friendly, the food excellent. As in many reviews, I agree that the hotel restaurant and the swimming pool area is very crowded. But this is typical for many city hotels. The guy making pizza in the evenings is absolutely... more

We were in PP during 1 week in April 2008. The hotel is perfeclty located (100 m to a beach with waves, 200-300 m to quiet one and Aquarium, ~1 km to the port and Old City walls). Plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops and groceries around. Breakfasts and dinners were definitely good, our son enjoyed too (special thanks to pizza-man).... more

After reading some of the less exemplary reviews we were a little concerned before our holiday, however were extremely pleasantly surprised. Hotel was spotlessly clean and in an excellent location. The staff and especially the waiters were polite, helpful and very chatty. Food was fantastic with a great range - something for everyone. Our room was sizeable with a bath... more

The Pool and restaurant are not big enough for the amount of guests they have. The restaurant is so small people cannot move and the tables are so close together and aisles so narrow that you are often bumped in your seat. The food although good quality is poor in selection. At peak times you have to queue. The pool... more

We have stayed at the Petit Palais hotel for two weeks AI holidays. The hotel is rather NOT 4star, but certainly it is somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Hotel rooms are large, kept clean, comfortably furnished (don't expect orthopedic beds), AirCon and fridge are advantage. Some rooms (as was the ours) overlook other balconies at the rear side and... more

Before going I had read the other reviews and was ready for the worst BUT we were more than happy with the hotel. We have stayed in many good hotels and altho Petit is not a 4* by many standards it is pretty good for a greek hotel. It is very clean, modern and the rooms are larger than normal,... more

We stayed at the Petit Palais for 1 week after being shipped across from the Grand because they were overbooked. The food was disgusting the air conditioning was faulty and although we complained daily when writing to our travel agent the hotel denied any knowledge except for the day of arrival when they put new batteries in the remote control.... more

This hotel was much more than I expected. Perfect location in Rhodes town, close to the beach (Eli beach approximately 50m from hotel, blue EU flag) and other attractions makes it even more appealing. Hotel has been recently renovated, rooms are spacious and clean, with A/C, balcony, TV, radio. Bathrooms are big enough, but without any ventilation so it may... more

My husband and I arrived at the hotel at 2.00 a.m. Sunday 5th June 2005. The Reception we received was very good. The Breakfast was okay, but the lunchtime menu was very sparse. I am not able to eat bread, rice, pasta or potatoe's so the menu was very limited if you are on a special diet. The evening meals... more
