Booked this Hotel to stay with friends who had already booked it, then I read the reviews and thought what have I done, but on arrival the Hotel looked very nice, and Impressive to those around it, the staff were also very lovely,so no problems there, the room was also very nice and newly decorated, and just like the Photo's, we... We stayed overnight before catching an early ferry. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but furniture was sparse. The plumbing was noisy and even a neighbouring cough could be heard, apart from any movement in the corridor. The fan in the minuscule shower cubicle did not work and the cistern refilling was temperamental. However, the bar service was... More

I booked the Alexia stupidly without reviewing the reviews on TripAdvisor before going. I paid £90 for my room at this hotel as a treat for myself and my partner for my birthday. We had just arrived in Rhodes after spending 10 days in Tilos looking a little disheveled due to the windy boat ride back to Rhodes. The lady... More

We stayed here a week at the end of August and enjoyed our stay. You could tell there was still a lot to be done to be completed though. We were happy to have a good room and balcony ( Room 320 ,though it overlooked the hotel across the street with people peering back at you. We used the balcony... More

I stayed with my family for three nights from 28th to 31st August and we were very satisfied to have chosen the Alexia. The refurbishment was almost complete and, although some details (including the suites with private Jacuzzi) still were not finished, we had no problem altogether. Kind staff, ready to solve problems, nice hotel in a very practical location.... More

To all the bad reviews before this either I have really low standards or you have really high standards. I think the latter is more appropriate! Myself and my boyfriend aged 20s and 30s travelled to Rhodes for a wedding. We picked the alexia thinking it looked stylish and comfortable but didn't look too much into the location. We found... The hotel had been recently refurbished and was very nice, but the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the adjoining rooms, also there was no courtesy room to use on day of departure, we were leaving at 9 at night, had to use ladies and gents, no shower, the hotel was in a street that was... From the outside the Alexia looks quite tidy, but the problems were apparent as soon as I walked inside. Anyone recall the Alan Partridge episode when The Lincoln Travel Tavern was being refurbished and he was the only guest? It wasn't far off, building materials left by the lift, painters still at work in the day. Obviously, I was aware... More
