Having been in Rhodes for three weeks my family and I took the decision to stay near to Rhodes town to explore the sites for three days however, we wanted a truly Greek of the beaten track restaurant and find this little gem. This has got to have been my best meal in Rhodes for our entire holiday, located in... More

in the heart of the old town in rhodes ,(slightly little bit difficult to locate, but ask.everybody knows it) there is a restaurant that doesn't cacht your eye from the beginning.a big welcome smile from the hostess as you getting in to sit in a yard full of plants and trees makes you think you came to the right place!!!live place... Hard working hosts have real passion for their business. This is one of trip highlights. The hotel place takes you back in time to a romantic medieval Rhodes while maintaining modern comforts and coupled with the best restaurant we found for breakfast and dinner. Good quality fresh food makes it great. However, either Efi isn't the best in marking maps... More

This is very pleasant and historical Bread and Breakfast that offers a central location in Rhodes. The hosts Efi and Spiro are welcoming and very nice hosts. Breakfast are nice but dinners at the restaurant are even better. This is a location that is not for everyone and they get most of their guests by referral only and they like... More

the decor, the rooms, the heavenly food served al fresco in the enchanting courtyard, the excellent service by the smiling young staff and by Effie.... one of the loveliest hotels I have ever seen... a place of quality far from the madding crowds of mass tourism and kitsch aesthetics

We were fortunate enough to stay at this incredible gem for part of our honeymoon in Greece. It was like stepping back in time. Our room was something like 800 years old and decorated with an artist's touch. Beautiful colors, beautiful garden, beautiful food and beautiful hosts! As someone mentioned, it can be hard to get in for a room... More

This is a beautiful place--essentially an oasis in the the Old City in Rhodes. Flowers and fruit trees abound. If the fruits are ripe, you can pick them off the tree and eat them. The owners, Spiros and Efi are very friendly, outgoing and wonderful, giving great advice on numerous questions we posed. The physical structure is a treasure, dating... More

Marco Polo mansion is a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful city with beautiful hosts and amazing food. The hotel is owned by an Italian painter and he has done a tremendous job. It is old, subtle and refined all at once. The hospitality is the tops. Spiros and Effie are a load of fun. The courtyard is tremendous and so... More

I wanted to book this hotel for a 10 day stay in September 2013. Tried emailing from their website a few times but never get a response. It's not listed on any travel websites and no booking links on trip advisor. H It looks lovely and has great reviews but how are u meant to book this place?

It has taken me some time to understand exactly why I did I find the Marco Polo Mansion so specially attractive. Well, there are quite a few good things about it. First, the location in the old town of Rhodes, with the hotel's entrance through an unassuming door from the small street, to a crescendo into the flowery garden which... More
