Excellent location between two beaches, good restaurants only minutes away and 10-15 minutes walk to the old town. The public areas of the hotel are contemporary and while the bedroom decor and furnishings were a little tired and dated it was perfectly adequate. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a necessity. The breakfast buffet was faultless with so much... More

Just arrived back from a wonderful week's holiday with my wife, staying at the Ibiscus in Rhodes Town. The hotel was in the perfect location, 20 metres from the beach, allowing me to swim before breakfast every morning. Many good restaurants in the locality to enjoy after a couple of drinks in the Pearl Harbor. Only had breakfast at the... More

We have now stayed at the Ibiscus 3 years on the trot and find it to be the most friendliest hotel we have stayed in,food excellent, staff friendly and helpful, rooms a little tired but always very clean and while you are there you must visit the socreteus garden in the old town for a snack or drink friendly excellent service

I ended up really enjoying my stay at Hotel Ibiscus. When I arrived, I was surprised to find that wifi was only available in the main lobby. To connect, you will need to go to the bar and get a timed code. I had booked this hotel at the midway point of my trip so that I could do some... More

The hotel is perfectly located on the tip of the island. A lovely beach is just a few steps away. But be adviced! You will, every single minute of the day, be approached by vendors. The view from Our famly room was beautiful overlooking the beach. Staff service in the reception was good and friendly. Rooms are average for tourist hotels,... More

Large room, but filled with excess furniture that made moving around cramped. No internet access in room (said to be coming in a month or two). Only one poorly located electric outlet. Tiny heritage CRT TV. Noisy fridge cycles all night, can't be shut off. Breakfast ample but surprisingly tasteless eggs, croissants, tomatoes, even butter. Tea bags, not tea. The... More

If you are used to 4 star hotels elsewhere in the USA or Europe this will disappoint. At best 3 stars. We had previously stayed at the nearby Cactus but unfortunately could not get the required 7 days. The location is great with the beach right across the road, several mini-marts and souvenir shops nearby, and the Port and Old... More

On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of wine in our room, which is a nice touch even if like us you don't drink. The hotel is centrally located, very close to old town Rhodes, which on the down side can be a little noisy at night. Rooms are very clean and are serviced daily. Shower do need updating... More

Excellent location with our room having a view of both the Mediterranean and the Aegean seas. Only about a ten minute walk to the old town which is well worth a visit as it is stunning. Just across from the sea- the Mediterranean is much calmer and perfect for swimming whereas the Aegean is less busy and great for sunbathing.... More

After reading all the reviews we booked one week half board at Ibiscus Hotel. Upgrading to a seaview was worthwhile and half board produced excellent food both breakfast and evening meal. Plenty of choice and absence of chips was appreciated. Staff were professional and unobtrusive but friendly. Room was a good size and very comfortable and like previous reports the... More
