I liked the Hotel Andreas. The owners are friendly, hold 6 o'clock drinks on the veranda every evening - which you are welcome to attend or not, as you wish...this is to allow the guests to get to know each other. Yes, the rooms are small - but this in no way impedes enjoyment of the experience. My room was... More

As a family of 2 couples travelling and having caught the ferry across to Rhodes on a whim, we were slightly unprepared at the busyness of the season and lack of accommodation available at very short notice - if you go in August, organise accommodation well in advance! However we were so lucky to find this gem of a pension,... More

Amazing hosts, amazing views, amazing food, amazing location. I had a meeting for about a week in the old town and wanted something quiet, cultural, unique, and personal. My husband and 1-yr old daughter traveled with me and we were all so happy. I still dream of the morning yogurt with honey, the delicious feta, and the olives from a... More

We well remember these guests! They told us at the time how much they were enjoying their stay with us, and it is a great pleasure to see them say it again here. Our warmest greetings to them, may they have a very happy New Year; and we hope to see them again one day. More

Great views, great hosts, great terrace environment with the flow of conversation, background music and lovely Greek wine. Highly recommend for the artistic soul revival retreat. We could see the city below us with the Aegean beyond. Cobblestone streets to the cafes and shopping close, It was clean, comfortable, affordable, and charming.

It's the third time I chose to stay at Hotel Andreas in Rhodes! The view over the ancient Rhodes, the sea and the Turkish coastline is superb! The charming atmosphere of this small hotel with individually designed rooms evokes in an unforgettable way the historical background of the island. Experiencing the everyday busy coming and going of all sorts of... More

This guest has stayed with us three times now, and has become a friend. We thank her for her custom, and for this review - especially her perceptive remarks about trying to walk on the cobblestoned streets of the Old Town in heels! More

Our group came to the Dodecanese for a sailing trip, and to explore the area. The Hotel Andreas became our home base. The tranquil and serene atmosphere that Constance and David have created here in this grand old villa, drew us back after our sailing trip, and we really enjoyed exploring Rhodes from here. And of course, returning for wine... More

Tranquillity and serenity are exactly what we're trying to achieve in the busy Old Town of Rhodes; and as we often are a base for guests travelling around Rhodes and its neighbouring islands, we very much appreciate the reviewer's mentioning this. Thank you! More

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Andreas. Constance and David are helpful and welcoming. Loved the character, cosy homely feeling of the place and decor. The view while eating breakfast is so beautiful and calming. I would definately book and stay there again.

Sadly, we did not find that the reviews of Hotel Andreas matched the reality. Yes, an old building does require compromises, however there were a number of 'compromises' that were not acceptable for the price charged. Our room (supposedly the best room) had two windows at ceiling level on a mezzanine, so almost no natural light. I know that this... More

We are sorry that this reviewer finds that other reviews of our hotel ‘did not match the reality’. Contrarian reviewers, heavily outnumbered by their moderate and kindly peers, always pretend to a superior grasp of reality. But no other guest who has ever stayed in our most spacious, airy and recently reconditioned room, Nessim, has ever felt compelled to describe... More

Constance and David's welcoming and inclusive style would make anyone feel like there are home. Faboulous views, a place to wined down with a nice glass of wine and share stories at the end of the day

We stayed for 3 nights and really liked the hotel. It is in a great location in the old town but as it is an old building then some degree of compromise is required eg our bathroom was separate from the room and the shower wasn't great but these minor inconveniences are more than compensated for by the character and... Old buildings like ours do have charm, and sometimes unattached bathrooms also! Two (#18 and #19) of our rooms have these - but they are private, with a key, and those rooms do share a terrace with a great view over the Old Town and the sea. So your choice of rooms can be a matter of what comes first... More
