We had a lovely stay at Hotel Andreas. We enjoyed the sunset views from the terrace with Constance and David's civilised 7pm drinks. We spent at least an hour chatting with David, picking his brain and considerable knowledge about Rhodes' history and culture. It was easy to be at Hotel Andreas, and relaxing - exactly as a hotel on holiday... More

Hotel Andreas was just perfect for us. The details that really make a stay easy and fun were all handled quickly and professionally: booking the room, taxi ride from airport through the narrow streets of Old Town, taxi rides to the beach, recommendations for the best beaches for us, restaurant recommendations. Sunset drinks on the terrace were served with the... More

Many thanks to this guest for her exceptional review - And for a description of room #21 that we couldn't do better ourselves. We really appreciate this. And our housekeeper Gina, an unsung heroine of the Hotel Andreas, would like to add her thanks, too. More

We are staying in Old Town in Rhodes at the most unique bed and breakfast hotel I've ever seen. It is old world charm in the historic Old Rhodes Town with it's narrow cobblestone streets with thousand year history throughout. The hotel is traditional archetecture for the old town. It has stairs, so expect some difficulty if you need accessability.... More

We are grateful to these guests for their wise words, for their company on the terrace each evening - and for pointing out that once you've climbed the 14 stairs to room #21, it's definitely worth it. It isn't only photographers who appreciate a panoramic view like this one. More

Looking at other reviews and the hotel website, we feel Hotel Andreas is being over-sold quite a bit. We knew it would be basic but thought character and company would make up for that. In the end, we found the whole experience to be oddly empty and soulless. At best, David and Constance were polite but distant hosts, and apart... More

We thank this guest for his originality: never before have we been accused of soullessness, or of overselling our hotel; and if other reviewers have likewise been overselling it, there is very little we can do, except thank them. It took seven emails each way to set up this guest's three-night visit; his airport pickup in the wee small hours... More

Constance and David offer their exceptional hospitality to the guests in this unique old lodging in Rhodes. Each room is filled with character and charm, and most have en suite WC's and air conditioning. Breakfast on the veranda is a great start to the day, with gentle cooling breezes blowing up from the coast and a spectacular view of the... More

Many thanks for this latest positive review! We always appreciate a guest response, because we learn a lot from them. Just to clarify: all but two of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and all of them have air-conditioning. More

My sister and I recently stayed at Pension Andreas at the beginning and end of a Greek island hopping trip. We both loved our time there - it is a beautiful place in a fantastic location in the old town, with great views. David and Constance are delightful, interesting people and it was a real pleasure to meet them. Our... More

We stayed at the Andreas this past June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the walled old town. If you want 5 star amenities, don't stay here. If you want the charm of a 400 year old residence converted to a hotel, you'll hit the jackpot. Our room was small but fulfilled the main three: Clean and quiet, good bed,... More

Small hotel but with lots of charm and individuality. Loved the owner - intelligent, caring and knowledgable. Tried two rooms, the second having access to a small terrace with fabulous views. Ok, the private bathroom was separate, and the shower was useless, but it didn't bother me in the slightest. I'd return!

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Hotel Andreas in the heart of Rhodes Old Town. If you like peace and quiet to return to after a hot and hectic day out then this is the place to stay. The hotel is run by Constance and David, who will also pick you up from the airport, and they certainly... More

I stayed here happily a few years ago and as i was back on Rhodes I thought I would see how this unique little place was doing - a pal had said that some of the rooms had been done up. They had indeed, but the quiet charm of this small boutique hotel in the Old Town has not been... More
