I love Rhodes and its people, I was very excited to be back until I checked in at the Hotel Mediterranean. For some bizarre reason the gentleman at the front desk refused to give me the room I paid for. Now I paid extra for a full sea view room only to be given a partial sea view room. If... More

I have spent 8 amazing days in this wonderful hotel in a suite overlooking the breathtaking Aegean Sea......The Suite is beautiful, clean, cozy, the bed is very comfortable with that wonderful feeling of being home on a vacation..... The balcony is just perfect for when you want to relax a bit after a long day discovering the beauty of Rhodes....you... More

The first thing that we "enjoyed" was the lack of air on the hallways. We entered the room and the bathroom was small (1.60 by 2 m) and with a dirty toilet that had a sterilized tab on it. I asked the reception to change the room but they did not. Instead the lady in the front desk came and... More

OK, the staff in this hotel must be the most unhelpful and rude people EVER, especially the ones working in the reception. I can practically say they destroyed our holiday with their shenanigans, arguing with us that the room they gave us was appropriate for 3 grown-ups and that we shouldn't complain because they were full and there was nothing... I returned from Mediterranean just 3 days ago and I had the chance to enjoy the superb view the hotel rooms have, especially those on the upper floors. As for the rest, it's an old good hotel of Rodos which, I think, needs a refreshement, especially regarding the rooms. Old furniture, very small beds, clean but tired amenities in the... More

i have never experienced rude people at the reception like the people at this hotel. They manipulated the reservation, gave us room with no view although ours was partial sea view. they were unhelpful and actually impolite specially the receptionist who had his shift at afternoon on 10/8. the room was hot, we complained but they did nothing. the location... I've been coming to Greece for 20 years and rarely write reviews. I know what to expect and not expect from this wonderful country however this hotel really under delivered. The Mediterranean is nothing more than a clean bed in a good location - nothing more and nothing less. First off it should not be a 4-star at all. There... More

An absolutely decent Hotel in the centre of Rhodes town, right on the wonderful beach where you CAN swim, and within a short and pleasant walking distance from anything you need to see in this marvelous city. I booked a room after a telephone communication and the gave me just what I asked and just what they promised! Very spacious... More

With the mixed reviews of this hotel we were apprehensive about staying here but overall our stay was OK. Like many other guests, when we checked in we were told that our sea view room wouldn’t be available until the following morning. Weird that it happens so frequently. I’m glad we paid the extra for the sea view because it’s... More

We booked a queen room with partial view. After much debate despite a clear email we were found a room and the partial room was a joke even leaning over the balcony to see a palm tree! We paid 30 Euro extra for a sea view after that but no queen just twin beds. We got team and coffee making... More
