The Agla hotel is situated in the windiest area of Rhodes Town. It was so bad, that it was impossible to sit out on the balcony early evening without being roped together. Being somewhat follically challenged, it did not bother me too much, but after spending what seemed to me like hours doing her hair, 5 seconds out the front... more

We stayed at agla in June for 7 nights. We had 2 rooms facing the street side of the building on level 6. The hotel staff are all very friendly and we found the manager maria to be very helpful as were all the reception staff. The rooms are always kept very clean - they are neatly appointed and very... more

Agla is a ok hotel, for this price. We got a room on the back, right behind a lime tree. So we could not sit on the out area. And we could not have up the back door, becaus all the buggs. So, the next day, we talk with the Hotel Manager, and we got the little house in the... more

We stayed in this hotel at the end of October, right at the end of the package tour season. We chose it because it is one of the few hotels that opens all year around. Our impression was that this was a well-run, good-value hotel that is professionally operated. It seems to take a mixture of package tourists and independent... more

Good points - Friendly Staff (apart from the bald barman). Generally Clean Hotel Bad points – The toilets in our room perpetually smelled of urine. We had to buy our own bleach to rid us of the putrid aroma emitting from the sewers. The boiled eggs at breakfast were consistently over-cooked on a daily basis. Cracking the shell each morning... more

I have just returned from my holidays and I don't think Agla hotel is good choice if you realy want have peacefull vacation. There is only one simple reason for that but I think it's good enough. In this hotel you can hear EVERYTHING from couple rooms next to yours and of course, from coridors. It is so loud, that... more

I arrived in Athens on my way to Rhodes but without any hotel reservations. Since it was starting to get close to Greek Easter I decided to go down to one of the travel agencies in the arrivals lounge of the Athens airport and set up a hotel before arriving in Rhodes. They put me into the Hotel Agla. So... more

I stayed here in Sept. 2003. A good all round hotel that is what it says. Neat, clean, nice public areas and great staff who were very friendly and helpful. Many had worked there for 20 years or more. Room quality excellent. Food extremely good if slightly biased to a N European clientele for my taste. Small but well maintained... more
