John couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating to us, and was a delightful host as well. When our ferry to Turkey was canceled and we had a 12-hour wait for the next one, he escorted us back to the hotel and let us spend the day there with his compliments. And the property is lovely--intimate, beautifully appointed, and very... More

John is a great host and really took great care of us. From sending us an email to advise where to meet him, to gladly taking our suitcases from the cab to the hotel and our room, excellent advise on what to see and do, where to eat etc. The villa was far enough from the main street to be... More

The old town is nice in parts, and a little trashy and touristy in others. But Zacosta is nicely out of the way up a quiet little alleyway. Close enough to walk to the restaurants without the hustle and bustle. The villa itself is beautiful. And the staff are fabulous as well. And for the girls... They stock Korres products!... More

What a wonderful stay we had inside the walls of this extraordinary medieval town in late July for 5 nights. John the owner went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From the wonderful breakfast every morning, to allowing us to occupy a second room which was available (there were 5 of us). We will never... More

Zacosta is a gorgeous 3-room villa centrally located within the walls of the old city of Rhodos. Although Zacosta is a much smaller operation in scale than a few other 5-star hotels we stayed with in other cities on this same trip, the service was just as good and arguably better. The owner and concierge, John, makes himself available whenever... More

This is the best boutique hotel we've stayed in. It's been beautifully done, the bed was extremely comfortable, huge bath and a lovely courtyard to relax in. The breakfast was superb with decent coffee and a huge choice of food. The owner was an excellent host and met us at the city gates despite the lateness of our arrival which... More

Wonderful hotel, somewhat off the beaten path, in the old city of Rhodes. The owner, John, has though of every detail to provide you with a lovely stay - comfortable beds, in-room wi-fi and fridges (with complementary bottles of water, restocked each day), robes and slippers, fantastic breakfast, including fresh juice and cappuccino, both savory and sweet pastries, great muesli,... Zacosta Villa is an amazing boutique hotel that manages to be a little slice of paradise! John is a wonderful host that met us in the Medieval City, carried our luggage all the way back, gave us a free room upgrade, and let us in early, and this was so very much appreciated as I got ill from the choppy... What a great hotel! We loved our stay at Zacosta - John was so friendly and helpful. He lugged our luggage from the ferry and then in check in, found that because it was vacant, he put us up in the suite. The villa is very clean, luxurious, and central - great for popping back to drop your shopping in... More

Zacosta is just perfect for a holidday in Rhodes. John is a brilliant host and looked after us so well. The rooms are lovely and I am missing the delightful breakfasts already. We loved sitting in the courtyard after a trip out, it is a true oasis.
