Our fourth year back at Zacosta with John our superb host. We stayed for one night then went to Symi for four nights and returned to Zacosta for four more nights. Everything worked seamlessly with John dropping us off and picking us up from port for our Symi trip. Zacosta is an idyllic location in Rhodes old town meaning you... More

The owner operator John is fantastic. The hotel only has 3 rooms but is located with a view of the Minaret of the Mosque, but far enough to be quiet. Our room was tight but very well equipped, especially the best bed by far we have ever encountered in Europe. The breakfast was great and arranged to allow us to... More

This was the second time we've stayed here and I just loved it! We stayed 4 years ago and returned this year for 5 days. John always meets you at the gate to the medieval town and carries the baggage on his trolley. This time we were given the delightful news that we had been "upgraded" (at no extra cost)... More

We stayed for two nights back in June and what a wonderful place! John kindly came and met us from the early morning ferry from Symi and drove us back to the hotel and after showing us the room he gave us breakfast which was gorgeous sitting in the lovely courtyard. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The bed... More

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful nights here in September 2014 for our honeymoon (we jumped around to various Islands), and we found it to be one of the best places we stayed in Greece. The host, John, is FANTASTIC, and he made us feel welcome and special on our honeymoon stay. When we arrived, he picked us up... More

We just had a quick nights stay here before spending 8 days in Lindos. John (owner) makes this place special. He welcomed us warmly given that we arrived very early. The room we had was the downstairs and if only one niggle that was the noisy wooden floor of the room above but it was only a small problem when... More

John, the owner, is phenomenal! From helping us upon our arrival by carrying our suitcases to our room to thoughtfully giving us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, he is the essence of Greek hospitality. If you are looking to stay in the Old Town and get a feel for Rhodes as it is and as it has... More

We had the most wonderful time in the old town. John went all of his way to help us and to make us feel special. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect. Best place by far in the old town.

John is an incredible wealth of Rhodes knowledge and hospitality. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights in the Ramoindi room, and immensely enjoyed this gem tucked away in the picturesque walled city of Rhodes. Breakfast was delicious and available at whatever time you choose, the bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was spacious with a wonderful shower, and local... More

Rhodes is all about the castle, so why not stay right in it. John is an amazing host who went out of his way to make us comfortable. He lugged our bags from/to the taxi, with a smile. The beds are super nice and there are top notch ammenities. The breakfast outside in the patio is absolutely wonderful... Lovely variety,... More
