Can you believe in a place like this? The location is amazing, inside Old Town. The owner is friendly and absolutely helpful. The breakfast completely unusual. You take the outside door keys with you. Cozy and charming. My advice - as you cannot drive till the hotel door, do not take too large and too heavy luggage.

We stayed at spirit of the knights on our first night in rhodes and it was exceptional. After a month on Tilos we spent our last two nights at zacosta which is just as lovely and much more reasonably priced. John has an extremely good manner, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable the room charming and the breakfast fresh... More

We were here 9 days in June 2012, at the end of an exhausting cold winter in Eastern Europe. John was a marvelous host and we soon fell into the rhythm of long sunny days in the old city and venturing out to restaurants after the cruise ships left. Wonderful suite, great bed, and bath stocked with Korres toiletries, a... More

We wanted to stay in the old city and couldn't have found a better place. John was extremely helpful and every suggestion he made (food, sights) turned out to be wonderful. Our room was beautiful, courtyard amazing, breakfast delicious! We were so relaxed in the courtyard and in our room. It was also within walking distance to everything we wanted... More

We stayed here for one night towards the end of September, and aside from the excellent location (right in the middle of the action) and the absolutely lovely rooms with a nice courtyard, the service provided by John (as echoed by many on tripadvisor) was absolutely exceptional. He made us feel like we were guests at his house and was... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights to begin our honeymoon. Upon checkin, we were surprised and thrilled to learn that John had upgraded our room to the Gran Maestro Suite. John proved to be extremely Rhodes-knowledgeable and a gracious host - All recommendations for activities, dining, and general guidance proved invaluable. The fantastic breakfasts in the garden... In the heart of crowded Rhodes old town lies a quiet, clean and stylish villa. We intended to have a lazy vacation with lots of comfortable sleep, long and rich breakfasts and a cozy atmosphere. We didn't care for swimming pools or open-buffet stuffing so this hotel fullfiled our intention. The hotel owner John never seems to sleep, always upto... More
