It a clean and quiet hotel. The personel is very helpful. The breakfast is very little but OK. It is near the sea. The pool is in the rear side of the hotel. It is usually full of children. Try to book a room at the rear side for avoiding the sun in the begining of the day.

Location=perfect Staff=excellent Value for money=hard to beat I am on my last day of a 2 week stay and a second visit. If you want a beach close and the beauty of the old town then for your budget this would be a hard to beat hotel. Thanks to all at The Parthenon

Probably the most difficult TripAdvisor review for me to write. I don't know where to start....It may be that we mistakenly booked ourselves there, thinking this was a city hotel. It wasn't. 90% of its clientèle is made up of 18 to 20 year old revellers. Not sure why the hotel management doesn't market their hotel for that market only,... More

Value for money???The hotel is really cheap because of the low quality provided. The humidity/mould in the room was awful, unbelievable, unhealthy! You could smell it from the 1st moment you entered the room, it was everywhere! The bathroom was tiny and quite filthy. The poor maids could't do much though, I don't blame them. The hotel needs renovation the soonest!... More

Brilliant location - beach across the road - 5 mins walk to bars and restaurants and around 10 ish minutes walk to the old town or 5 euro in a taxi. Pool is quite small but adequate - reception staff very helpful. Mostly 'twenties' there in July but all age groups early and later in the season. Only criticism is... More

This hotel is a little gem. It's in a great location - the beach is literally just across the road!! It has fantastic staff and the rooms are really nice and clean. You can order food and drink by the pool, the bar is open all hours and there's a really nice seating area at the front. There's lots of... More

Hotel entrance and bar area looks ok , however room was terrible. Beds (twin beds although we'd asked for a double) were so lumpy and uncomfortable it was hard to sleep. We asked for a double and they said they would move one in to our room. Actually the pushed the beds together and put on a mattress topper. A... More

We are very happy with our stay at Parthenon Hotel. It would be hard to do any better for the price really. The room was of decent size, and it was clean. The hotel has a panoramic elevator that leads to the pool area. The staff was very friendly and arranging. Due to a flight cancellation, we could only stay... More

Stayed at first floor. The room was terribly smelly and the main light didnt work. The cat(!) that kept entering my room, probably host there, made impossible to keep the window open so you had to tolerate the smelly odour. Seriously too expensive for the messy rooms they offer...
