In my opinion the location is very good if you come after season. The distance to the nearest beach is about 10-15 min, as so to the city centre. So you are away from the hustle & bustle of Faliraki, but close enough to have a nice walk both ways. Besides it's a nice 30 min. walk to the fantastic... more

We were in this Hotel three times. It is very comfortable, the staff is kind and helpful. The food is excellent. The sea-view from the balkon is amazing, as the pool is. We enjoyed every minutes of our holiday, and absolutelly sure, that we will go in the next year too! Mercedes from Hungary more

Hotel Matina is a quiet place 1 km away from both the sea and the centre of Faliraki (Rhodos). It is the ideal place for spending relaxing hours around the swimming-pool, but also for a 15 min. climb to the small church of Profitis Ilias with a breathtaking view of the famous "Anthony Quinn Bay" (a 35-40 minutes walk from... more

The hotel is about 10-15 min walk from faliraki centre and from the beach. Our studio room was in need of upgrading. Poor lighting. Nice balcony. The pool was as big as I expected. Enough sunbeds around the pool. Good food at the pool bar. Nice staff. The cleaner was not doing a very good job. Self catering facilities -... more

After arriving at this hotel at night, the first thing we noticed was the lack of sufficient lighting in the room, but as we retired we overlooked this and went to bed. The next day we had a proper look round the apartment only to discover that this 'self catering' room had no kettle, no toaster, no chopping board, no... more

I arrived alone to this hotel. I planned I will stay for a week, but I stayed two weeks. I write down shortly, why. This hotel is a family company. The owner and the members of the family are so kind and friendly. The staff did everything perfectly to make me pleased. They welcomed me with smile in the morning,... more

the food was terrible, breakfast really suckt!!! Rooms are to small, badroom smelt funny and the shower was all but modern, staff was friendly but to friendly if you get my drift: you really don't want them to try to seduce your girlfriend the moment you turn your eyes away. They don't clean the room and don't refresh the sheets... more

Arrived at the Hotel around 5am and the sun was just emerging from behind the mountains...... Room was average size (adequate for what a room is required for on holiday) and looked out onto a sea view... Pool & Gardens are was massive and very well kept.. Also a jacuzzi and small baby pool....The pool bar chef (Ellias) made wonderful... more

It takes about 30 mins from the airport in a taxi costing 20 euros. The rooms are small & basic with balconies, there were 2 hob rings to cook with but no utensils to cook with, fridge, tv & air con which was well needed in the heat. We went half board & the evening meals you could only choose between... more
