I stayed there back in 2005 and I still rave about my experience at Villa Philothera. I found the hotel through a hostel site so I wasn't expecting much after hosteling all over Europe. Our stay at Villa Philothera was wonderful! You could not ask for nicer hosts (Joanna and Fotis); they made us feel like we were staying with family or friends. Fotis picked us up at the airport and returned us there at the end of our (way-too-short) stay. He also arranged a rental car for us and Joanna went the 'extra... more
