The apartments were great, but nobody explained that "meltemi" is a huge, powerful wind that sweeps across the island strong enough to blow your sunbed into the pool, food off your table etc.! Meltemi Suites is perfect! Very friendly staff, lovely breakfasts and a great location. Close to beach and bus stop. Perissa has so many places to choose from to eat, all excellent and very good value for money. Oia, Thira and Emporium are worth a visit, all on bus routes, cheap if run a little late! Just returned from Santorini, and stayed at Meltime Suites, couldnt have found a more perfect place, so calm, amasing staff, Athena is just wonderful and so genuine & helpful. Several other guests have been before and return each year, that says it all really.
