We have just returned from a two week stay at the Meltemi Village hotel in perrisa, Santorini and have to say how wonderful it was. The rooms are basic but very clean, and the maids cleaned every day. We stayed in the same apartment on the far corner and I too was expecting the brightly coloured flowers on the white washed buildings but it wasn't to be! Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed this holiday and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this accomodation. After reading the latest review posted, I would like to provide a totally different opinion on the Meltemi Village. My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 weeks. To start with when you travel you should have an open mind. Remember you are getting what you paid for and the Meltemi isn't a 5 star hotel and doesn't claim to be.... more
