The good points - Volcano Restaurant on Perissa beach - the only restaurant that was not out to rip you off, fantastic food and great service and very reasonable, right on the beach. It gets very busy by 8pm so go early to get a good table. The bad points - We stayed at the Hotel Rena for 2 weeks,... more

We stayed here first two weeks in September. Things started to quieten down on the second week with a few restaurants being closed. The hotel room is small, has fridge and TV, our balcony overlooked the court yard and the other hotels though some did overlook the pool and side views. Hotel was kept clean at all times, towels changed... more

We stayed at the Hotel Rena for 1 week, having read the previous reviews. We had a twin room in the hotel block (there are also studio blocks) and found the room to be very clean, and had everything we needed - fridge, tv, plenty of hot water, hairdrier - basic in the decoration and bathroom but typical for Greece... more

Our stay at the Hotel Rena was a very pleasant experience. The room was quite basic but there was plenty of room. The balcony looked out over the courtyard. Fresh towels were provided on a daily basis and the sheets were changed every 3 days. We had a fridge in the room which was very handy for cool drinks etc.... more

In May my husband and i went back to Santorini, 1 year after we got married there. We stayed in a different hotel this time as it was a bargain. It was the Hotel Rena. It was B & B and a good location (even tho on the maps we saw it was said to be further away, so a... more

My partner and I stayed at hotel rena for a few nights. Has the best hotel manager in Santorini! Jacob. He made our stay all the better. He makes great cocktails, number 1 Mojito's! Perissa is probably the cheapest part of the island to stay on. The hotel is basic but exceeds expectations in comparison to the price and is... more

Lovely and friendly small hotel. It's not flash, and we were a bit shocked when we arrived and saw our old and tired bathroom. However, we came to love this place over the week we stayed there. Perissa is a great base, and much cheaper than neighbouring Kamari. Make sure you do NOT sit by the pool/beach all day, as... more

Great stay here. Basic but rooms cleaned every day and bed linen changed each day! You have a fridge in your room so if you take a travel kettle you can make your own hot drinks as a cup of tea is 2.50 euros. Staff helpful and very friendly. Location was very central for the resort, with plenty of places... more
