Where to start.... I knew it wasn't going to be luxurious so didn't have high expectations. I'm not going to waste my time spending ages on this review. It is as everyone else says... I saw the room and kind of accepted that it was basic and the shower was typical Greek. No worries to this. Didn't feel great about... More

We stayed one night and checked out the morning after to find another hotel. The plan was to stay at hotel perissa for 9 days but this was absolutely terrible. We did read other reviews and were prepared for a low standard hotel but it was worse than we imagined. The room stank of something that reminded of gasoline. Dirty... More

We stayed one night, had a late reservation online and didn't have time to check the reviews... There was only a 4 person room left and we took it even though we were 2 because they provide free transportation to/from the port/airport (we had to pay for 4 ppl). We arrived by boat in the middle of the night and... More

Was hired by the father in the airport. It was in the middle of the night and he said I could stay in the hotel one night and the next morning he would drive me to Kamari where I had my destination. Since I had no hotel reservation for this night in Kamari I though it was a good plan.... More

The only good thing was the transfer from the ferry to the hotel (not hotel to ferry). Having worked for greek minimum wage in Ios for the summer, my boyfriend and I had very low standards of what is an acceptable double room to pay €50 a night for - but this was below our expectations. The bathroom was dirty... More

The hotel is run by a friendly family. We were greeted at the port with free transfer to the hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Aircon and fridge that worked. The owner was also helpful in pointing out the tourist attractions. There is a huge pool as well as n restaurant with a limited menu. Close to the... More

After a few days of feeling like "just another tourist to pay the bills", Hotel Perissa was a haven of genuine hospitality. The owners are local Santorinians who take pride and pleasure in sharing the island's beauty and history with their guests. Freddy took us on a complementary ride to the best viewpoints in town. Yannis told us his first-hand... More
