My husband and I stayed at the Blue Dolphins during our honeymoon and it was easily our favourite accommodation while we were in Europe. Great location, an easy and beautiful walk into Fira or Imerovigli. The room was very clean and surprisingly spacious, the bathroom was enormous, and we had lots of privacy. The staff were exceptional, especially Dennis, who... More

I don't usually write reviews on anything, but I feel as though I have to after my stay at Blue Dolphins so people know how nice and great value this place really is. I have been travelling with my best friend for months around Europe and Santorini without a doubt was the best stop throughout our trip. It s a... More

We truly enjoyed our stay with the Blue Dolphins. The hospitality and professionalism by the staff was amazing! Dennis and Katarina really made us feel special. They helped with tours, reservations, and directions almost everyday during our stay. I really appreciated how Dennis proactively worked to compensate us due to a booking error by upgrading our accommodations and providing an... More

The hotel is located on the caldera edge about 2 km from the center of the main town of Fira which is an easy walk to. Upon our booking we were recommended a car renal company which proved of good value at a daily rate of 25 euros. When you arrive by car, as we did, it is not that... More

Me and my husband stayed in a suite for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago. The room was superb, with an amazing view of the volcano and Firostefani, thoroughly cleaned daily and very roomy. The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the caldera path but the private, a few mins walk away from the restaurants and cafes... More

We left Pierrefonds, Montreal to visit the Greek islands with Santorini being the last in our island hoping. This has been our 3rd time in Santorini with Blue Dolphins being our favorite hotel. Our plans always include Santorini and this specific little hotel. What can I really say about this place ? The most spectacular views from all the rooms!!... More

My sister and I showed up by car at the Blue Dolphin and were immediately greeted by the hotel staff including Dennis; all the staff were wonderful;Dennis in particular was great, he showed us where to eat, how to drive around and assisted with air reservations. Another guest had a medical incident Dennis also helped out with. The rooms were... More

We spent 3 nights here in May 2013. To our surprise, they offered us a free upgrade to a suite. The view was incredible with a private balcony. Rooms are spacious with a minimalist decor. Breakfast on the terrace is great. In all, serene and peaceful. Hosts are great as well, very helpful.

We stayed in the Mykonos room in Jun 2014 for 2 nights. The room was perfect!! Nice jacuzzi, sunset and fira town view made our honeymoon trip wonderful. The hotel staff is kind as well. This is the best hotel we stayed during our Greece trip and we like the hotel a lot. It takes around 15 minutes walking to... More

Stayed 4 nights in the room that could easily be mistaken to be a "spare room" in the house. Having the window along the common corridor that led to the reception, privacy is certainly not something that the hotel considers. The room has the basic necessities with a 14inch wall mounted tv. View from the room is in existing. Unless... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Blue Dolphins is situated in the village of Firostefani, which is a 10 minute walk from the capital village of Fira (through a beautiful pedestrian path on the caldera). We have the privilege of being at a magical location in terms of view and peace of scenery, but also close to the restaurants, bars and nightlife of Fira, the capital of Santorini. Blue Dolphins is also connected to the picturesque village of Imerovigli which is also just a 10 minute walk through a pedestrian path on the caldera. ... more   less
