Wow. Great rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. The most awesome view you could imagine. Easy location to get to various points of interest on the island - beach, Fira, other towns, bus stop close by. Don't hesitate to book Hotel Ira!

Amazing experience in a great location. It is a 15 min walk to Fira where many of Santorini's best nightlife, food, and shopping attractions thrive. The views are beautiful and my wife and I enjoyed the service and candid recommendations and help from the staff.

What a beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Maria and a glass of homemade lemonade. We were celebrating my birthday and 25 th Wedding anniversary. Our room was upgraded to a suite and we were thrilled with the views of Caldera and also our room. Hotel Ira is in Firostefani a lovely walk down to... More

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel. When we arrived for check-in, we were welcomed warmly and offered a refreshing drink. While Maria took care of our reservations, she gave us an overview of the area, provided valuable information about the sites to visit. She obviously loves the place and I don't blame her! The whole island... More

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Ira at the end of May and through our tour company were upgrade to the Athina suite with a private balcony overlooking the caldera. The location of the hotel is perfect- a couple minute walk to great restaurants, shops, and Fira. And though the room was very nice, it was the warm welcome and... More

We stayed at Hotel Ira for six nights at the beginning of June, and found from the first moment that the hotel exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. Our room, a standard cave room, was beautiful, comfortable and reasonably light, and cleaned to a high standard every morning. The same applies throughout the hotel, which is kept in an... More

I have booked one double bed standard cave room and they put us in another hotel next door - Blue Dolphines, without telling. No apologies either. Blue Dolphines was connected to Ira hotel so we had no idea that they put us in a different hotel. We realized after asking "why are there two receptions in a hotel?" and the... More

-the staff and service at Hotel Ira are second to none -the hotel is located at the top of a stretch of shops and restaurants in Firostefani -do not try to walk with your luggage from the bus stop to the hotel. It's farther than it looks on a map, over cobblestone streets and basically uphill the entire way -but... More

IRA Hotel is amazing--sitting at their pool side as I write this since the husband is asleep from our boat tour earlier. Wonderful service, views and it is very peaceful! There is a market and some really good restaurants close but not too many that you are in the crowd. Fira is a 10 min walk away with all the... More

I'm not sure if the Ira qualifies as a hotel. It's more of a bed and breakfast, but a lovely one! It does not have a full restaurant or lounge. What it does have is one of the best locations and views comparable to any of the higher-priced hotels. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, but... More
