We stayed in this hotel back in May 2013. Upon our arrival we were really impressed with the breath-taking view of the caldera and Santorini. The location is perfect, a quick walk into the centre of town and the local bus stop is near by if you wish to travel to Oia. (however the views from the hotel are just... More

Hotel IRA is in Firostefani , which is centrally located in Santorini. Do not stay in overpriced and overrated Oia area. Instead try this hotel ! One of the very best hospitality ever experienced in the world. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast buffet is superb. The infinity pool area is so relaxing and has amazing views of Caldera.... This is the perfect place for couples to sit back relax & explore Santorini. Fifteen minutes from the airport to the centre of the Island fria. Rooms are different depending which one you choose. .we had the pool room on the main balcony...medium bed...double shower. .stocked fridge. Breakfast was something for everyone. Only thing missing was a bar which is... More

I stayed at Hotel Ira with a group of friends for several days. The staff greeted us by name but knew when we wanted to be alone. I felt cared for but respected at the same time. Breakfast on the patio was devine and the food was great. My room was inside the hotel and didn't have a view of... More

My boyfriend and I were on a 3 month European trip and this was probably our favorite hotel. We didn't book a caldera room like other reviews suggested, but we were not disappointed! Our room was quite large with a separate living area from the bed. We received a "welcome" carafe of wine - yes please! The views from the... More

This hotel was a little out of the way but worth the walk. The room was clean and comfortable but the real drawcard was the view, especially from the lovely pool. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Although the hotel was outside the main part of town there were restaurants nearby and a bus to the other end of... More

We were not disappointed with the beautiful view and the lovely room- glad we booked the Caldera view. Room was clean and very nice touch with the spa bath. We didnt really get to know the staff as we only stayed one night, however we thought that a few areas of the service could have been improved. Such as, we... More

Beautiful island, lovely hotel. Almost a cliffside room, small balcony looking over the whole bay/crater, and down the sides of the island. Well appointed, all the basics you could want. Excellent breakfast, fresh and hot. Short walk to the town centre and many excellent restaurants.

We spent four nights here and it was bliss. Hotel Ira is in a great location - in Firostefani, which is outside of the chaos of Fira (don't go to Fira when there are two or more cruise ships docked - the town is overrun by cruise ship passengers!), yet close enough to walk there. We were upgraded on arrival... More
