We spent 4 nights at Ira and could not have been happier. The whole place is super clean, large rooms (we stayed in the Estia room), good wash room facilities, better than average breakfast and great staff. There is a lunge, pool area and observation deck that all overlook the caldera. Walkable to Fira proper and Imerovigli with great views... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in mid-September. We loved it and are so glad we chose to stay at the Hotel Ira. Upon check-in we were upgraded to a suite by the very friendly and accomodating Maria. She and all the staff at the hotel go above and beyond to make certain that all their guests are... More

Lovely little hotel in a breathtaking location on the Caldera, the staff here are upta friendly and helpful, nothing seems to be too much trouble, very clean with lovely rooms, we had room 110 by the pool but it was peaceful with excellent views. You won't go wrong for staff, location and overall comfort if you book this tranquil little... More

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with stunning views. The only downside would be the stairs but I think that would be the same for any hotel on this side of the island. Friendly staff and small but nice little rooms.

We stayed in one of the caldera view rooms and boy are we glad we did! This hotel is a 15 minute walk to Fira and a bit off the path to Oia, meaning, people are not walking past your hotel pool when they make the walk from Fira to Oia so it's nice and quiet when you hang by... More

We stayed here for four nights to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in August 2014. We had been referred to this hotel from friends who had come for their honeymoon a few years prior and had a great experience. I was in contact with Maria leading up to our stay and she was very helpful in booking transfers to/from the... More

The location of this hotel is ideal for experiencing all of Santorini. Centrally located in the middle of the island, 10 mins stroll along the caldera from thriving Thira. Panoramic views of why Santorini is considered the crown jewel of the Greek islands. Rooms are small on the pool deck, but we spent most of our time soaking up the... More

My first review on trip advisor and I have no doubt that this will be the best review I ever give. Absolutely stunning hotel, gorgeous location, roughly 10 minute scenic walk to the main centre in Fira, shop right across the road to hire scooter or ATV/quad bike which I highly recommend to hire a quad bike and ride all... Hotel Ira is a very wonderful hotel! The rooms are nice, the view from the hotel and the pool is magic and the ones working there are doing everything they can in order to make you stay as wonderful as possible. Firostefani has nice restaurants and Fira is just a short walk away. The sunset here is as beautiful as... More

After reading the rave reviews about this hotel, was very excited to spend a few days here during our stay in Santorini but am sorry to say this was clearly overpriced and our worst stay during our Greek holiday. The location is perfect and although the hotel is very high up so be prepared to walk alot of steps but... More
