This amazing hotel looks over the Aegean for incredible sunrises and sunsets. The rooms are spacious, breakfasts are great, the staff do everything they can to make your stay memorable. The Hotel has as fabulous swimming poor, a public lounge, a great terrace with a view of the Aegean I'll never forget! If your going to Santorini, staying at Hotel... More

Picked this hotel after reading lots of comments and primarily because of the location. I was celebrating a big birthday and so we treated ourselves to a suite with caldera view and were definitely not disappointed - every morning it was fantastic to open the curtains and see that stunning view. However, as many others have commented, the help and... More

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Fira but within minutes of some of the best restaurants on the island. Beautiful, well maintained rooms where most overlook the caldera or stay in one of the cave rooms built into the rocks. Breakfast is very good and the staff are excellent. They will help you with... The view from our room was outstanding and truly made this hotel a standout for us. The hotel staff was great. Maria was wonderful and helped us in anyway she could. The rooms were very clean and comfortable - breakfast quite substantial with many choices. Be aware that there are many steps - not only at the hotel, but going... More

There are two reasons to stay at the Ira and they're close to equal. The first is the view. It's magnificent. If you can, book the lone suite that stands on its own, overlooking the volcano. It has a balcony. Without sounding pompous: I've stayed all over the world and I don't think I've ever had such a view. It's... More

We managed to get a room with a balcony and a spectacular view of the Caldera. The location is great too, as it's just far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to restaurants and everything. The staff were very helpful, and gave us loads of great advice, about things to see and do. They also booked... More

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was very nice, and the view was remarkable. So, all-in-all, it was a good experience. However, there were disappointments. We wanted to do something special for our 25th anniversary, so we booked the junior suite at 240 EU (shoulder season rate). The junior suite is advertised to have a "panoramic caldera... More

Before staying in this hotel I read the comments on Trip Advisor, some of them were good, some others negative. I must say it's a very nice hotel: very good location, not far from Thira - which is good, not noisy - very nice view, very clean, pleasant, and most of all, very warm welcome! Maria speaks several languages and... More

As many reviewer stated this hotel has a unreal view. Try to get a caldera view room. It is worth to pay more. Waking up to the view and enjoy sunrise and sunset right from your own room is priceless. I did not experienced attentive service from the hotel staffs but no negatives either. I liked the location. It's not... More

Hard to do such a wonderful location justice. Our room was on the edge of the caldera. Amazing view. The room itself was beautifully decorated and you didn't have to get out of bed to see the volcano. We enjoyed the walk each night to the wonderful cafes and restaurants. We would love to go back to such a wonderful... More
