The rooms are extremely spacious and were cleaned often and to a good standard. We had a self catering apartment however we found it was quite difficult to cook as no pots were provided and there wasn't an oven. There were two big pools which were very clean and great fun! The apartments with a view of the pool/sea are... More

I have just returned from a week in Platanias, staying at the Menia Beach Hotel. It was a beautiful setting, with the beach only feet from the hotel.the pool was always busy but not overcrowded and after a few days I discovered roof top lounge areas - perfect for sun bathing, especially as I had travelled alone! Staff were very... More

We stayed for one week. This is a family friendly hotel with two large pools next to the ocean. The rooms, grounds and beach were clean. We booked online following reviews and we're not disappointed. Owner's family and staff were helpful and friendly. They looked after all of our requests. Restaurant food was average. They made more of an effort... More

2nd visit to Menia Beach and very enjoyable. Clean, plenty of sunbeds, friendly and helpful staff (especially Nasco), drinks reasonably priced. Hotel right next to the beach, bar ideal for watching the sunset. Well stocked supermarket next to the hotel. Rooms comfortable, air con good, kitchen not very well equipped (no wine glasses or working corkscrew). Planning return trip in... More

The hotel was 40 Euro per night, which was a good price for a beachfront hotel. The room is a reasonable size, with the typical for europe tiny ba. there was no shampoo, only liquid hand soap, so you may want to bring your own. All the rooms seem to face inward to the pool, which can get loud during... More

Spent a nice week in Platanias at Menia Beach hotel on the first week of June. I usually travel by myself so I really appreciated the room having a double bed instead of one small little bed. Kitchen was nicely equipped (and again, more than just one piece of cup, plate etc). The location of the hotel was really perfect... More
