We stayed at the Stelva Villas for over a week. The place is lovely with two pools (the one at the top is quieter), and pretty big apartments. it's basic but really cheap for the service you get. The rooms are equipped with kitchenettes, not much to expect here but all you may need. The staff is very helpful, welcoming... More

Myself and my boyfriend spent a week at Stelva at the end of June and we can't wait to go back. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were told our room had been upgraded which was of course wonderful news. Our room was right outside the bottom pool. Admittedly we were taken back at how basic... More

I only stayed at Stelva for one night, which was more than enough. I have been a regular visitor to Crete over the years and always stayed in Piskopiano although the apartments I normally would have stayed in are now closed. I choose Stelva after reading comments on here and also the price for one night 38 Euro. When we... More

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the stelva villas in piskopiano.. this has got to be one of the worst apartments that we have ever stayed in. The rooms are dirty and haven't been updated for what seems like 20 years. We were shown to our rooms at approximately 3am and just dropped into bed when... More

If you want a basic room at a very low price, Stelva is perfect. It is a short walk from Hersonissis (although it will seem like more coming up the damn hill), which makes it a good location to jump off and day scover the rest of the island. The services are play, just expect to eat out every night... More

Me and my husband have just returned from Crete and spent 10 nights in Stelva Villas in mid July. I will have the best memories, people, food and whole atmosphere is incredible. Piskopiano is a quit and nice place and is considered to be traditional village but a car or bike is a must as to go to a beach... More

Stayed for a week in early Sept 13, basic but clean rooms, nothing was too much trouble for Spiros and the rest of the staff. Location in Piskopiano is great, just a short walk to Koutouloufari and Hersonissos villages. The restaurants are generally very good with good food at reasonable prices. Car hire is a must if you want to... More

First I don't want this to come across to badly as this is a nice little hotel. The staff are really really nice and are helpful and polite etc. The rooms are very basic but ok for what money you pay! You pay peanuts and thats what you get. I cant fault them for bad rooms as they are ok.... More

Have just returned from Stelva having spent a week there. The apartments are very basic and really could do with an update to bring them more in line with other accommodation in the area. They are however clean and tidy. one sheet change and two towel changes per week, the bathroom facilities are fine but beware the shower cubicles must... More
