My husband and I recently stated at the Piskopiano Village Apartments. We arrived at 2am to a note on the reception door giving us instructions on how to find our apartment. We then had to try to locate the apartment without waking the entire complex, so tiptoed up and down several flights of stairs until we located the apartment and... More

Look, unless you do a super hotel(of which there arent that many on a location like this)-accomodation in Crete is basic. The pay off is the sights are delightful and somewhere like Piskopiano has an authentic local feel that most holidays lack.

The apartments were absolutely lovely & the staff wonderful & friendly...Mr George & his family, & Danielle plus other George & his wife/ son were the most lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble, especially when a guest upstairs from me had to go to hospital. The staff were constantly assisting, on the phone to doctors, insurance etc...relaying messages to... We asked for a ground floor, but because the appartments are built on the side of a steep hill, it was ground floor on the rear but a flight of steps at the front to get to it. Appartment was clean but very basic, - you would be hard put to prepare a meal there with the lack of proper... More

We found this holiday online and it was a absolute bargain - too good to miss. When we arrived we were taken to our room which was not like the rooms shown on the website - there are about a third of the rooms still to be updated and ours was one of those. However, it was still a nice... More

On arrival we were greeted by Mr George who showed us to our apartment (51). High vaulted ceiling in lounge and bathroom made it bright/airy with a bonus sea view. Only negative shower curtain enjoyed wrapping itself around our body when showering. Yes, you do have to provide toilet paper, however you have to remember this is not a 4-5*... More

We are just back from a fabulous 2 week holiday. I would highly recommend these apartments. The staff are fantastic Chico who my son had a ball with playing pool every night with him and Daniella for cooking us lunch most days at the pool bar and Mr George for serving drinks in the evening. Would highly recommend these apartments... More

We stayed in studio as all one room apts booked. Room small, but nice and Cosey. The room was clean, fresh towels and bedding provided. 2 pools, excellent accomodation. An excellent base as located amongst several tavernas and restaurants serving excellent food. Also situated next to small church which is beautiful. No complaints, warm, welcoming and excellent value for money.... More
