I booked a room in this hotel with booking.com for a one-night stay in mid July. While I’ve travelled in many countries around the world, I can easily say that here I had the worst experience ever, with regards to hotel reservations. We arrived at 9.00 PM, and when I asked for my room, the person at the reception told... More

I had to book a room in Roussillon at the last minute, which was never going to be easy in August, so getting a room here was a positive. And the people on reception are charming. BUT with temperatures above 30C outside, to be offered a room "with a terrace" which turned out to be south-facing and with zero shade,... More

We had a completely different experience than many of the people reviewing this hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2013 and loved it. We had a beautiful room (Room 11) with a terrace complete with chairs and table perfect for enjoying an evening drink. The hotel is located below the town, which we appreciated since it was... More

My husband and I spent two nights here, never again. We were on a bicycle tour in the south of France and it did not stop raining. When we arrived in Roussillon Reves Hotel all we wanted was a hot shower. Wouldn't you know it no hot water. No hot water for the whole stay. When we asked he replied,... More

We had visited Roussilon on a previous visit to France so knew it was a beautiful old town, and picked this hotel this year as an overnight stop to the South. The room was very comfortable and clean with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast was relaxed and plentiful - I just... More

I signed up on trip advisor just to write this review. Avoid this place, especially if you have children or simply want to avoid stress or confrontation, which the owner dishes out in abundance. Toilets were broken, room was smelly, towels were old. Room was very hot. But those things are (almost) forgivable. The owner is obnoxious. (I wished I... More

This hotel such as the village Roussillon - very nice and cozy. Hotel decorated in a main color of Roussillon - ocher. We stayed for 1 night - we got a large two-rooms apartment for three people with a large terrace where we enjoyed a glass of rose wine while watching the sunset. Very comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Free... More

We had a horrible experience with this establishment. We arrived late but had called called too late to get someone on the phone. When we arrived we learned that they had rerented our 3 rooms for both that night and the following night, even though we had guaranteed with a credit card. We had 6 teen girls with us and... More

Booked the room the same day by phone and repeated that it was only for "tonight", which the manager later insisted was "two nights". After an argument that left us feeling very uncomfortable, the manager agreed to bill us for only one night, which is what we had booked. However he was extremely rude, insisting he was right and in... More

This hotel reflects the calm beauty of Roussillon through its decor and low-key management style. Our second floor room was large and sparcely furnished but had a nice atmosphere with a large window. Connected to the hotel is a lovely patio to enjoy. Parking is free in a public car park across the street; the hotel provides a pass to... More
