On the final night of my recent visit to the south of France, my girlfriend and I stayed at this charming little hotel in an old Provencal hill-town. Spacious, very comfortable room, with a good size bathroom; friendly welcoming service; and an absolutely superb restaurant, with not only gourmet food but a spectacular view overlooking the precipitous, ochre-coloured gorge. To... More

The view from our room and view at Le Clos de la Glycine was surreal. The rock formation and colors along with the valley view below took our breath away the moment we entered. We stayed in a two story room with unmatched views from a private balcony and private jacuzzi. The hotel restaurant was superb. However, we were there... More

After it was my bright idea to drive from Paris to the coast (driving my wife crazy as we passed up tens of beautiful Provincial towns, we made it back to Rousillion and found this amazing place. It saved our trip and gave us peace. Please stay in a room with a balcony and a view. It was quintessential Provence.... More

My wife and I stayed here in October, 2013, for 3 nights while touring Provence and Burgundy. The hotel is located in the heart of a small but heavily touristed village. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and departed on Tuesday morning. The hotel staff let us park our car in the small garage beneath the building while we settled... More

We didn't get a chance to enjoy our stay unfortunately! Our car was broken into at LaCost on our way to Rousillon and our suitcases were stolen. It was a nightmare but we made it to Rousillon just to put our head down. The staff on duty that night was so sympathetic and helpful. Our room is clean and well... More

We stayed in Roussillon for only one night in a terrace room. Really beautiful location with great views from our terrace. We had room service breakfast on the terrace to make it all worthwhile. We also dined in the restaurant in the hotel. A wonderful dining experience with beautiful attention to every detail. The chef even prepared a special dessert... More

The hotel is outstanding in every way: very stylish, well maintained, and courteously efficient staff, clean, superb location, and unparalleled views from the room. Moreover the food service in the restaurant is comparably superb: fresh ingredients, attractive plating, attentively professional wait staff, and simply delicious. Everything about La Clos de la Glycine reflects the care given to create and maintain... More

We arrived very early at the hotel, to leave our luggage, and were told not to worry, our room had been vacated early and we could have it in half an hour - a lovely start to our stay, and typical of the service and charm of this hotel. Based on the website information and images, we had booked the... More

Arriving in July and expecting tourist overrun, we were very pleasantly surprised that such a tranquil environment existed. We loved the hotel, town and location that was close to lavender and other authentic villages that gave us a taste of the real Provence. Everyone at the hotel was very welcoming and very helpful with information about the area. The Angelique... More
