A comfortable, brightly decorated, modern hotel with large, clean pool and relaxing pool area, about 15 minutes walk from the old centre of Roussillon. Easy parking and very quiet. The food was fantastic - our demi-pension menu (34 Euros for 3 courses) included a Foie Gras ballantine, magret de canard and a variety of delicious deserts. Two things were a... More

When booking asked for a large room and booked the top price room on the assurance it was a large room. Was very disappointed and felt a little duped as the room had a large but unusable floor space including a mezzanine with 3 beds on it. The fittings were not of a good standard so very disappointed. To rub... More

Our only regret was that we had only booked one night at this beautiful small hotel--more like an inn, a 10-minute walk from the village of Roussillon, at the edge of the Luberon area of Provence. The grounds are lovely and feature a beautiful pool surrounded by lounge chairs within view of the terrace where breakfast is served. Dinner was... More

We made a mistake when booking but eventhough fully booked, they came up with a solution. Great staff and caring owners that helped us plan a daytrip of sightseeing. Can recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst we travelled around the area. The rooms are spacious and have lovely views over the garden (we had a balcony). The owners and staff are attentive and friendly. it's a ten minute or so stroll to Roussillon. Breakfast is plentiful, eaten sat on the terrace as the little Redstarts flew back and forth to... More

This was my 2nd visit to this hotel in as many years, and I adore it there. The grounds are beautifully maintained and very restful (in June, that is, although I suspect that the pool might be hopping with families in August). The pool is a wonderful treat after a day of touring, and you can leave your car at... More

I stayed two nights here on a week long biking tour through Luberon. I arrived in a bit of a hot mess (considering the heat wave that was going on and biking around the hills for 6 hours) and the receptionist was so sweet and helpful, and assisted me into my room ASAP to shower and head to the pool.... Hôtel Les Sables d’Ocre is a small hotel on the fringes of the mediaeval hilltop ochre village of Roussillon. It’s about 10 minutes' walk up into the village so would not be the right place if you want to stay in the mediaeval heart. Our room was pleasant with a little balcony and Flotex faux-floorboards. The grounds were pleasant (after... More

Sweet hotel, 10 minutes walk from the village. Our room was lovely, facing the yard & garden. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very kind & were ready to answer any question we had.We eat dinner at the hotel - great experience, tasty food, lovely presentation, so if you don't want to... More
