If you're looking for a central location in this interesting little town and are happy with simple, clean rooms and facilities then La Bonne Auberge lives up to its name. Its added bonus is the friendly, hands-on involvement of the owner/chef - not least because of the superb quality of his cooking. Only downsides for us were a rather uncomfortable... More

Breil is a lovely, typical southern, sleepy little town. On a hiking trip in this beautiful mountainous area with a few friends, we spent a couple of nights in this hotel in a narrow street of the old town of Breil, with its old fashioned rooms and steep staircase. Although I did not stay at this hotel, the food I and my family had there was extremely good. All the flavours you could wish for and done just the way you like it. "hot tip though".
