A nice hotel well situated for the town. I stayed in April before the main tourist season and the hotel was quiet apart from 40 business colleagues. Rooms are spacious and a little dated but functional and clean. Hotel staff are quick to please and get things done. There is plenty of parking if you have a car both at... More

We always stay here for a specific annual event and additionally use this hotel as a stopover when travelling through France. Whilst an older hotel the staff, food and location more than make up for the older style. Loads of parking, fantastic market in the square outside and the wine shop. Some fantastic restaurants within walking distance and a great chocolate... More

The hotel is in an impressive, brick-built, period building with easy street parking and a secure enclosure for those who need it. Reception is friendly and the foyer bar pleasant and well-frequented. Our room was plainly furnished but comfortable with an excellent bed and was, most importantly, very quiet. The centre of town is a short walk away. A good... More

We nearly always stay here when we do a "booze cruise" from the UK to Northern France. Montreuil is a great destination, very easy to get to from Calais or Boulogne. This hotel is excellent, particularly since it's had a makeover of all (we presume) the guest rooms. It used to be really dingy, but the rooms are now nice... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few days on our way back home from Reims. It is a hotel we have stayed at before and have always enjoyed our stays here, this time was no exception.. The staff are excellent and do their utmost to provide great service and go the extra mile.. They do this very well..... More

We recently spent six days driving old cars around the towns and villages close to Montreuil. Staying at this hotel was a pure delight, I have never had such good service as we had at Hotel Hermitage. They were always attentive and helpful in every way possible.

A group of eight of us stayed at this hotel whilst touring in the area. We all had large rooms, some on the ground floor which was great for someone who was less mobile. My room had loads of space in the bedroom with a large bed which was very comfortable, a vestibule for luggage, another space via a large... More

Stayed here a few years ago on a golf weekend as it is central to the courses we play and is close to local attractions for our wives to visit (Arras and Agincourt this trip) Good hotel, clean and comfortable with a good breakfast, some bacon would be a good addition. Friendly bar and staff

From the outside one might be forgiven for thinking this is a grand hotel in the traditional style. In fact it is a functional mid-range hotel, but is none the worse for that. Some of the decor looked a little tired but the room was great. It was very large with a big double bed and a couple of armchairs,... More

'Best Western' implies a certain standard and the Hermitage lives up to it. The very solid substantial building is as the name implies a converted monastery. The perfect place to stay in Montreuil-sur-Mer and well located on small square overlooking the interesting church. Behind the hotel is The French HQ of the Wine Society however I didn't have my card!... More
