We stayed here as a stopover on our way back from a holiday in France and Spain, it did exactly what we hoped in that it was in a handy location for the ferry the following day and offered us a bit of comfort after a couple of drizzly days camping. Overall, the hotel is lovely, the grounds are beautiful... More

Being on a bike tour and very bad weather gave us the pleasure to stay three nights at this wonderful place. Where to start with the praise, the whole staff just very friendly and helpful. The room truly exceptional, bed, decoration, bathroom all top. The dining room very elegant and the seven course was a feast, each course a delight.... More

Spent a lovely midweek getaway here - a friendly reception, truly magnificent room, and perhaps best of all, secluded gardens where you can sit, have a glass of very good champagne, and listen to the rustle of leaves in dappled sunshine. Montreuil-sur-Mer is a wonderful town, but get busy, and to be able to repair to the Chateau and slow... More

we happened upon this hotel by chance when touring france by bike, we were in the area and searched booking.com to find somewhere to stay for the night, and what a find it was! the chateau is beautiful, we had a room in the garden courtyard and what a room, a spa bath, huge comfortable bed on another level, 2... My personal view is that this place just can't be beaten for friendly service and fantastic cuisine, the food is always great with such attention to detail, local ingredients feature throughout the year. We have stayed here on many occasions over the last 20 years and always wanted to stay longer. Just love the place and the people, the location... More

We arrived here without booking and were lucky enough to get a superior room. The hotel and staff are charming. The first floor room was large and comfortable with a view of the garden. There was separate dressing area and a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Downstairs there was a sitting room. There was an air of comfortable... More

Although pretty regular visitors to both Le Touquet and Montreuil, we had never stayed at the Chateau - big mistake! We walked through the wooden entrance doors - and found a little Paradise! We had booked a room on the 2nd floor of the main building and had been warned that there was no lift but it really wasn't a... More

A lovely room in a separate building to the main hotel with the bathroom downstairs. This was no problem. Very pleasant and well kept grounds. A good menu and wine list which we enjoyed. Good service and friendly staff. The town is lovely too. We would definitely return.

My wife and I recently stayed here for a couple of nights to allow ourselves a days cycling in the surrounding area. The staff were all lovely, the room very quiet and comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. My only criticism would be that such a grand bathroom could have done with a larger bath.

This is a charming French chateau. The room in the annexe has a shared terrace,, but only a shower by hand in the bath which is quite old-fashioned. The restaurant has a star which might be deserved but prices are quite high. The breakfast is charged 25 Euros Nuts in the bar were not fresh. The total bill is approximately... More
