Have to say that we haven't tried charter travel for the last 20 years, so this was a positive surprise for us. The staff was very friendly, most of them Swedish/Danish. The location couldn't be better, right in front of small restaurants and beach. The chefs served a great 3 course dinner in combination with a buffet. Lots of activities... More

This type of charter holiday that you can get used to if you are not fan of the regular all inclusive resorts. Though a resort in name, it is more like a privat held hotel with quality three course dinners served with pride and local ingredients. Breakfast is standard and not standing out at all, and with half pension, lunch... More

It was with some trepidation that we booked this hotel after reading some of the less than complimentary reviews on trip advisor. We had a little difficulty in finding the hotel, but were directed there by the tourist office. We had walked past not realising that it was a hotel, some better signage would be helpful. We were more than... More

Good location in city centre but a lot of traffic around. Nice and super service minded scandinavian staff. Great breakfast. Spacious room with comfortable beds in newer building, worn out vintage feeling in the main building (the castle).

The location of this hotel is perfect. The atmosphere is quite special because this is a Swedish owned hotel with 80 % of the customer from Sweden. Some of the employees don't speak French, so you have to be able to speak English, or Swedish... The carpets in the lobby and our room where dirty. Too bad this hotel has... More

My wife and I stayed here recently. The location is excellent, but everything else is terrible. There is no safe or fridgerator in the room and the outlets in the room are so poorly placed that you may as well travel with extension cords. The closet is useless because it isn't deep enough and when we asked to check out... More

We stayed here for our final night on Corsica, before getting the ferry from Ille Rousse. Its in a big old building just a minute or two from the decent beach and town centre. Walkable (10-15 minutes) from the ferry. Also the return address for Europcar is the hotel car park. For the second time on our holiday, our room... More

The location, the staff and of course the food were all perfect, BUT..the rooms in the main building.... I know that on Langleys home page they state that some rooms had have fitted carpets but I expected them to be clean. The carpets in the corridors and rooms were filthy!! We could follow big black oily footprints from the lift,... More

If you are looking for an excellent hotel in the center of Ile Rousse - go to Napoleon Bonaparte. The annex has spacy rooms, large bath-room, clean areas and a very competent and friendly staff. We had a large terrace on the 4th floor with a wonderful view over the mountains. The young Swedish boys and girls in the staff... More

The buliding is very impressing. I am sure, that in the past this hotel was for the upperclass. To day it is run by staff from Langley´s travelbureau. The staff are almost speed talking swedish guides, who are diffucult to understand for danish tourist, which were a great part of the guest in the week ,we were there. The rooms are... More
