As another reviewer noted: people return due to good location, 25m pool with kids but also designated laps hours and not for the service. But that means the hotel can and does ignore: that room allocation via Booking.com is a lottery- hotel thinks two single beds in a room constitutes a double room; were told no rooms in main building... Been here a couple a years ago and reviewed the hotel and gave it a 3. Why? It was mainly for the standard compared to the price. Didn't think the hotel measured up to the price. However in all fairness there were lots of things we really loved; situated in the centre of the cute village, 2 minutes from a... More

Went with kids at 7 and 9 years old. Perfect pool och location for them and us. Rented bikes (both mountain and road) for 60€ for 5 days just down the road. The village is great to strol around in. The food and the staff at the hotel were great. All recommendations!

A mixed experience. The hotel is impressive to look at from the outside, but inside is tired and in severe need of modernisation or restoration. However the room we had in the new building was clean and spacious but overpriced. Hotel swimming pool is in need of modernisation. Breakfast average, service ok (but far from fantastic). Location good close to... More

Have to say that we haven't tried charter travel for the last 20 years, so this was a positive surprise for us. The staff was very friendly, most of them Swedish/Danish. The location couldn't be better, right in front of small restaurants and beach. The chefs served a great 3 course dinner in combination with a buffet. Lots of activities... More

This type of charter holiday that you can get used to if you are not fan of the regular all inclusive resorts. Though a resort in name, it is more like a privat held hotel with quality three course dinners served with pride and local ingredients. Breakfast is standard and not standing out at all, and with half pension, lunch... More

It was with some trepidation that we booked this hotel after reading some of the less than complimentary reviews on trip advisor. We had a little difficulty in finding the hotel, but were directed there by the tourist office. We had walked past not realising that it was a hotel, some better signage would be helpful. We were more than... More

Good location in city centre but a lot of traffic around. Nice and super service minded scandinavian staff. Great breakfast. Spacious room with comfortable beds in newer building, worn out vintage feeling in the main building (the castle).

The location of this hotel is perfect. The atmosphere is quite special because this is a Swedish owned hotel with 80 % of the customer from Sweden. Some of the employees don't speak French, so you have to be able to speak English, or Swedish... The carpets in the lobby and our room where dirty. Too bad this hotel has... More

My wife and I stayed here recently. The location is excellent, but everything else is terrible. There is no safe or fridgerator in the room and the outlets in the room are so poorly placed that you may as well travel with extension cords. The closet is useless because it isn't deep enough and when we asked to check out... More
