This property, part of the Relais & Chateaux group, looks beautiful on the outside. Spacious grounds, that are well manicured. It also has a delightful Michelin one star restaurant. The problem is the rooms. They are tired and really need a makeover. Standard rooms are tiny and the size of our suite was more like a standard room. With all... More

This 16th century building was once a "prayer house" which became a farm and not is a quaint boutique hotel, just dripping with charm and beautiful views. The hotel features 23 unique rooms for rent with several additional sitting/dining rooms which are cozy, with dark wood and numerous vintage paintings. The staff are attentive and helpful. Our room was a... More

My wife and I spent four nights in this most wonderful hotel. The accommodation was superb. The quality of the restaurants both formal and casual was excellent. Above all the service was overwhelming. Particularly Estelle who every morning provided us with a printed itinerary on all the things to do that day. In all our years of travel this has... More

Staying at the Vieux Logis is a memorable experience. The setting is serene, the rooms beautifully decorated, the service superb, the hosts warm and friendly, and the food sublime. We selected Vieux Logis because of the cuisine and our expectations were met. Every dish was both a work of art and a culinary masterpiece. The hotel has a one star... More

Our focus in visiting Le Vieux Logis is the excellent Michelin One Star rated restaurant where we have dined on four occasions. The food is outstanding, the dining room comfortable and the outside courtyard a treat if you are able to dine there or perhaps enjoy a drink before dinner. This was our second overnight visit and the pleasant surprise... More

A wonderful place to stay during the off season. When it is quiet you can disconnect, relax, and enjoy the food and wine which the region offers. The hotel is relais and chateaux but keeps the feeling of a b&b.

A stay at the Logis is a splurge for most people who are traversing the area. I have to say that it is worth every penny. The architecture is stunning, the grounds are so lovely and carefully tended to it could be used as a photo shoot for French country living. What makes this Relais and Chateaux a must for... More

The Vieux Logis is a lovely Relais and Chateaux hotel in Tremolat. The building and grounds are beautiful. There is a gorgeous garden behind the hotel with a pretty stream running through it. A pool is also located behind the hotel enhancing the spectacular setting We had the prix fixe dinner with wine pairings and absolutely loved every minute of... More

Stayed here over New Year - Lovely location - Great Staff - Excellent Restaurant - It was really cold weather but the staff went out of there way to make sure we were warm even adding an additional heater to the entrance hall of our room. Nice Lounge with Log Fire. Well laid out gardens with pool - Would be... More

This is a really beautiful place to stay in an extremely picturesque area, but what made it truly special was the wonderful staff. When we checked in, they had planned to give us a room on the second floor. Since my wife wasn't happy with the two stairways, they upgraded us to a junior suite on the ground level. They... More
