We were booked in to this hotel as part of our Passau to Vienna cycle trip.We were shown to our room and our faces dropped. The walls had masses of scuff marks on them ,the bathroom door had scuff marks and a big gouge mark, the toilet seat had stains on it.All the bathroom contained was a cheap bottle of hand wash... We stayed here one night on our bike trip to Vienna from Passau. This hotel was by far, the least nicest place we stayed. They rate themselves as a 4-star hotel, but I think they were a little liberal with their stars. Reception was poor. Sort of the 'once-and-done' sort of thing. Our room was OK...nothing special. They have free... More

We stayed here during our danube cycle ride and It is right on the river so is really convenient. It also gives you lovely views of the river from your rooms. We had a four poster bed room which was lovely, but all the 3 rooms we had were very nice. The breakfast was also good, and there is good... More

We arrived after our bike ride, and the young host was very nice and gave us all the information we needed. The owner does smoke, but did so on the patio, and we just closed the window to our room. We don't like smoking, but it is common here and we were grateful it wasn't inside. Breakfast the next morning... More

The hotel is situated in a nice location as well as a convenient one alongside the Danube and accompanying cycle path. The rooms were nicely furnished and had a great view over the river, but with no balcony. When we arrived, the owner told us to just sign the check-in slip and went back to her work until we had... We were pre booked into this hotel because it was ideal for our bike tour being right on the banks of the Danube next to the bike path. Of all the hotels we stayed in in Austria over two weeks this was the worst. The young receptionist greeted us warmly but then disappeared . The room was well decorated but... More

We pre booked our stay in Tulln because it seemed a good location as we planned our bicycle route. This was a convenient stay, distance-wise from where we stayed before and our intended next destination, which was Vienna. The hotel is attractive. The breakfast was quite good and the girl who worked in the restaurant was very accommodating. The not-so-great... More

Arrived dripping wet, as down a bike tour to Vienna. Despite looking like I was drowned, I was given a warm welcome, a cappuccino and shown to my room by the owner. The rooms was very comfortable, just a moments walk from the Danube. Huge, comfortable bed, free wifi, a great shower to clean up in. Breakfast was the best... More

Very nice hotel directly on the banks of the Danube. Friendly staff, especially the waitress in the morning, excellent breakfast, very quiet rooms, nice bathroom. Nice double beds with great mattress for a good night sleep. I liked it. Coming from Switzerland on a business trip I thought that the price was ok for the room. In addition, Tulln is... More

Booked this hotel as part of an organised cycle tour of the Danube. On first view the hotel looked great but the room was a little disappointing. Rather sleepy staff and wifi only available (with difficulty) in the lounge area. It was supposed to be 4 star standard but this was only 2 star at best. Bathroom cleanliness left a... More
