Wow! What a delightful place for a vacation. Our family has diverse desires for vacation activities and this location was a perfect combination for the very active sport enthusiasts and those desiring the quiet relaxation. The food….well how can I say it was an exceptional choice of simple local choices and exotic flavor combinations from a local chef. Tara and... more

My friends and I just returned from a 6 night vacation at Villas Hermosas and we were more than impressed. Brad and Tara were extremely helpful before we even arrived. Tara responded promptly to my numerous emails, answering all of my questions and sharing helpful advice. When we did arrive, It was obvious to me how enthusiastic Brad and Tara... more

My husband and I stayed at Villas Hermosas for 9 days for our honeymoon in July. We loved it! We really enjoyed spending time with the other guests during the breakfast in the rancho every morning, but still had lots of privacy. Brad and Tara (the owners) were awesome and did anything we asked to make our visit even better... more

Our family ( two adults, two teen-agers) spent some 10 days at Villas Hermosa and loved it. The setting of the villas is beautiful with a nice pool and nearby beach. Tara arranged numerous activities for us, eg, surfing lessons, fishing, Zip-lining through the jungle, and a really interesting ATV trip to remote villages and beaches. The ATV trip was... more

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during our Costa Rican honeymoon back in Dec '08 / Jan '09. This place is tough to beat. If you want to get away from it all - you'll love Villas Hermosas. You basically have your own private pool and a huge stretch of beach and a few really good surf... more

My 80 year old mother, grown daughter, and I just got back from the most wonderful 4 nights at Villas Hermosas! We were treated like queens! Tara was so helpful before I even left offering advice on activities and restaurants and making reservations for us. The setting could not be more beautiful and the villas were huge and so well... more

I'll echo another reviewer's sentiment that I selfishly almost didn't write this review because I don't want everyone to know how great Villas Hermosas is. What if I can't get a reservation next year? :) All kidding aside, Villas Hermosas is stellar. Brad and Tara were excellent hosts. It started with Tara's top-notch service while my wife and I were... more

I found this hidden treasure while looking for honeymoon ideas at Trip Advisor. I knew that the area is great but wasn’t sure about accommodations. Even after reading so many great reviews, I was still hesitant as it sounded too good to be true. Well let me say that every single word of praise written about Villas Hermosas is well... more

Very nice place, just as advertised, you can believe all these reviews. The staff were really helpful the entire stay. The villa was immaculate with high quality construction, A/C, wireless internet. Everyone who worked her was very friendly and always willing to point us in the direction of something fun or interesting to do. Highly recommend if you are interested... more
