I have just returned to the states from a 9 day "surf get-away" with the girlfriend at casa cecilia. We scored great waves every single day. The room we stayed in was big enough for all our luggage and boards, was very comfortable and decorated nicely. Everything about the room was perfect, even the water from the shower had nice... More

I recently returned from a romantic stay at Casa Cassandra--the house to the rear of Casa Cecilia. The place was absolutely gorgeous and has its own private beach right out front! We had the place to ourselves for most of our stay, which was amazing, but the other guests that did arrive were all friendly and we still had privacy... More

We arrived at 6 pm on a Sunday evening with no reservations anywhere in Santa Teresa. After driving up and down the road looking for a place, we happened upon Casa Cecilia. Lucky for us Donald was there working on the website. He was surprised to see us and showed us around. After seeing the beautiful beach and secluded area,... More

this hotel is a hidden Gem. The perfect location on the beach, wonderful staff & great service. You cannot get closer to the beach if you tried you are on the white sand. The only small negative is this hotel is further out on the main road and you have to hit the dusty road . hard to breath on... More

We stayed at Santa Teresa to host the first Surf Life Saving GB international lifeguard qualification in Costa Rica. We spent a week at Casa Cecilia and our host Don was amazing! They looked after us well and all the participants of the course. The views are spectacular and if you can get up for an early surf you will... More

My mother and I had a fabulous time at Casa Cecilia. We stayed in the suite upstairs so we had air conditioned sleep at night, a great view of the ocean during the day when we were reading, getting ready to go to the beach, or just relaxing. Don and Kelsey were very helpful and generous with their time, made... More

I stayed at Casa Cecilia for two weeks in mid-April. I stayed in the unbelievable master suite where I may have had the best sleep of my life falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Certainly I had the most beautifully surreal waking moments, gazing out at the ocean framed by the charming peaked roof. Don and Kelsey were... More

Surfers and beach lovers alike need to look no further for the most welcoming, easy and comfortable spot in Santa Teresa. A super simple authentic beach house turned B&B offered all the comforts of home and a prime location. Don and Kelsey were perfect hosts, serving up delicious food (best ever goat's milk yogurt and homemade granola, although my son... More
