The grounds are beautiful with hammocks and wooden lounge chairs near the beach and by our room. Our standard ocean view room had a huge porch with a view of the ocean, although only from the porch. The room itself was very large with a huge shower and beautiful painted sink but desperately needs brighter lights, especially by the mirror... More

We came to Tropico Latino for our one year anniversary. The Hotel is in an excellent location near a beautiful beach and walking distance from the crossroads. The rooms we spacious and clean and the grounds are well kept. My wife enjoyed the yoga classes and we took surfing lessons with Ale who did an awesome job.

The Santa Teresa beach is beautiful. The pool and spa area small but nice. The service was terrible in all areas (reservations, reception, bar/ restaurant and pool area). Example: there are 6 sun beds for the whole resort at the beach (approx. 25 rooms with 2-5 pax each). "Do you have any more sun beds?" (And no, we asked kindly... More

My wife and I stayed here during a Surf and Yoga camp arranged by Pura Vida Adventures. The moment we walked in we were in love. A fabulous boutique resort wonderfully integrated into the tropical forest right next to the beach. Multiple bungalows available some better than others. Most amenities are available. The outdoor restaurant and bar are charming. The... More

We feel in love with this place the moment we walked in. The hotel staff was amazing & EXTREMELY helpful. Worth the money, great area & incredibly cozy. We stayed in one of the houses then moved into a bungalow because we decided we did not need so much room & actually like the bungalow better! Would 100% stay here... More

If you interested in surfing and or yoga in Santa Teresa, this is the place to stay. Fantastic beachside location, with surf break to the left and right of the hotel, and a beautiful yoga area facing the beach. Great surf rentals right next door, and plenty of good eateries, including at hotel within walking distance.

Santa Teresa is a unique and amazing area for a vacation. Standing on the beach and seeing endless beach and jungle to either side is what seperates it from your typical beach vacation in somewhere like the Carribean. Hotel Tropico Latino is an excellent place to stay for a relaxing vacation immersed in the natural beauty of the area. The... More

We loved the beachfront lounge area at this hotel and the beach is wonderful. The staff was mixed- Dorian at the restaurant was amazing, but the rest were not. We noticed that our coffee maker not only had coffee residue, but had mold growing inside. When we let reception know, they didn't seem that alarmed or apologetic- they just said... More

Location was great right on the beach, good service at the reception and restaurant. I was just a little disappointed at how dated the bedrooms and bathroom was for the price I payed. It said on the website hot water from the shower, however during my 3 night stay i received none. apart from that, very nice.
