I spent about 1 month in Hostel 7. There seem to always be people staying for extended periods in the hostel so it feels like you're living in a house rather than a hostel. The staff are excellent and the owner is really involved, passing by many times per day to see how things are. I slept in a hammock... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hostel 7 Casa de Gingi on and off from January thru March 2013. It is by far the best hostel in Santa Teresa. The location is perfect. Hostel 7 is on a quiet side street, set back off the main road. Only 2 min walk to supermarket, restaurants, surfshop, etc... The beach is about... More

My friend and I came to Santa Teresa only planning on staying a couple of days. We liked this Hostel so much that we kept extending our stay. We were given the nickname "One more Night" because we kept adding another day to our trip. We stayed 12 days mainly because we felt safe and secure at Hostel 7. The... More

Stayed here for 6 nights just, cool hostel, good kitchen, 2 big fridges for food and beer, pool table, hammocks, dorms, cheap privates and expensive privates, good bathrooms, outside shower to rinse off after surf, parking, close to shops and beach. Just a really good well rounded place to stay. But the staff member who lives in the dorm slams... More

We came into Santa Teresa without having anything booked :( We stopped at Zula for lunch and asked if they knew of any budget places. The owner mentioned Hostel7 which was right around the corner from Zula restaurant. We got a double private for $35/night which was simple, clean and in an isolated corner of the main building. I loved... More

Just a very organized and friendly hostel. Reasonable price, good kitchen, nice yard, and Gingi's a rad guy. It was pretty clean, had everything a traveler could want, and felt secure. Also organized cheaper-than-usual surf lessons for us. Only downside was that sometimes the AC and/or internet wouldn't work, but I think it's cuz so many people are using them... More
