When we arrived to Santa Teresa- it was a very busy time of the year and we ordered room at the Kokua Hostel before we came, but when we arrived we discovered that it was a terrible place and we were stuck without a place to stay. luckily - the two wonderful women in Tico Lindo offered us a great... Tico Lindo is the most welcoming hotel I have ever been at - because of the very warm and loving owner Gemma and her sweetest daughter Tania. We made a video: https://youtube.com/watch?v=2i0oNOJnznk very nice to relax in the hammock or take a swim. Delicious breakfast with focus on health - only the best for the guests. Jungle starts practically in... More

A small traditional motel style facility undergoing upgrades and spiffing by new owners/family members who live on-site. The units are very basic to the point of being almost spartan--such as no glasses in the unit, but loaned from the bar upon request! Owners are pleasant, seek to accommodate needs/requests but are a bit "rule" bound with all the little hand-written... More

The place is run by a nice family. We checked in without any hassle, they even let us check in earlier and didn't bother asking for passports etc until we got comfortable. They had boards for us to rent, a nice pool table and a small swimming pool to cool down) We booked a double room( I think the rooms... More

We were told after bringing in our stuff that everyone was sick in town. Also no fridge,no water or beverages allowed in room. Parking for a fee?I guess it was better to stay in the night we were there anyway!Expensive too!... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Tico Lindo Hotel. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and were very accommodating when we wanted to check out a little bit late so we could keep enjoying their beautiful pool. The rooms are very clean and the ac was pumping nice and cool! We loved that we could just walk across the street... More

We arrived on New Year's Eve to find out there was an issue with our booking (my fault), but the family that run this gorgeous little place took us in to their place and let us sleep in their house - beyond the call of duty. The place is basic but clean, the food/ breakfasts are incredible and different every... More

What a wonderful small hotel in a great setting by the beach. We had a wonderful experience in Tico Lindo. The location is great, in central village, can walk everywhere or rent an ATV to travel around. The owner and her family are so welcoming and friendly, they really go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and... More
