This was my second visit to the hostel, used to have a different management... New guys seem to be nice but place but could have some improvements... Good location, close to a supermarket and the beach, nice if you are only looking for a place to sleep

The best people ever are now running this place. "less like a square and more like a circle" See you again. This place helped change my life, new to surf culture and the tropical ecosystem. Trip for the ages. If you want to meet the best people ever who will be your friends and help you with anything, stay here.

Cool people running the place, chilled out vibes but as the manager said to us, if you want air con don't stay here. Santa Teresa is a hot place in the summer and the swimming pool is just a glorified green paddling pool. Good place to meet people but don't stay there on account of the air con or pool... More

Very helpful guys, these guys have recently taken over the place, unfortunately bad reviews I've read on hostel booking sights from previous owners, but now it's highly recommended (we were "walk in" guests, hence reviewing on here) even helped me out when I snapped a fin box out ;)

From the great pool, hammocks, howler monkeys and surf, Mini Hostel is a great place to stay in Santa Teresa. Dorm, and private rooms available, a nice lounge room with tv and cable, Outdoor bungalos, cool outdoor kitchen and great staff. 5 minute walk to great surfing and great food as well. Santa Teresa is a great relaxed little town... More

yes I am back in santa Teresa after a two year absence. I chose to stay their because of the pool and pura vida vibe trip advisor, "claimed"? The pool looked like a swamp, peoples things were getting stolen, ie cameras, phones, money, but the overall vibe was cool with people working and staying their prior to jacking. However, 2... More

Overall I found this hostel to be of a very poor standard and beware of the thieving. Had 2 things stolen within the first 12 hours (from my dorm room and the bathroom when my back was turned) so I left after one night. The pool is not fit for swimming in and no one uses it. The dorm room... More

We stayed in a private room with our own bathroom and it was perfect for our holiday in Santa Teresa. Luis was extremely helpful and made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We would stay here again.
