We stayed at Fuego Lodge for a week... best week at Costa Rica by far!. We had an awesome time surfing, walking, sunbathing and also playing futbol with Itay!! Combined all this with some "mates" and interesting conversations with Barbara, and you have the perfect combination for a relaxing vacation. I strongly recommend staying at Fuego Lodge!!! Love you guys!!... More

Remember the character Kramer from the show Seinfeld? Always popping up.....and Jerry.... always being super helpful, and always making time for Kramer, no matter what he was up to.... Well, this past winter, I believe I broke the record for the longest stay at Fuego. I was lucky enough to work from my laptop and stay for 3 months!....and over... More

In the middle of gorgeous Santa Teresa beach there´s Fuego Lodge, a nice cosy boutique hotel with all the amenities you need. AC, small kitchen, hot water, pool, safe parking, close to the beach, markets and restaurants, friendly service and great prices. Definitely recommended for those looking for a nice place to stay.

Fuego Lodge and Santa Teresa have stolen our hearts. My husband, 15 year old son and I keep returning to Fuego and can't get enough. In 21 years of marriage, we had never returned to the same place twice. It is a big world out there and we love new travel adventures, but this place brings us so much joy... More

I traveled alone, stayed there for 2 weeks time and found it very comfortable. Extent place to stay, cool, calm and friendly staff, fair price. Close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants… Itay will help any time, tips and advice for surfing spots, etc…

I was spent a week at the fuego Lodge, trip to Jako and came back to another 8 days at the fuego. Good place clean and nice. Very comfortable location. It's the best choice at Santa Teresa. At the room you can find TV coffee maker and refrigerator.

Most beautiful surroundings; lovely accommodations, and exquisite hotel management. Barbara, the owner, will make sure you have the most pleasant stay. The facilities offer you peace and quiet, as well as air conditioned rooms, and a gorgeous pool for both adults and kids. We will certainly be back.

After two and a half weeks of traveling around Costa Rica, I headed to Santa Teresa to chill and enjoy some beach time. Found Fuego and it was the perfect place to stay. I loved the rooms, the property and the location. Barbara was an amazing host, taking care of anything my friend and I needed. Her lovely demeanor made... More
