Just returned from a week stay and it was fabulous. Absolutely beautiful. You need a rental car as it is remote from anything else. If you want to just relax and get away from it all, this is the place. The pool is wonderful. The monkeys in the trees behind the rooms are fun to watch. The iguanas are friendly... More

We recently stayed at Casa Conde for three nights. I did enjoy how quiet and peaceful the beach, Playa Panama, was. I also enjoyed our room, which was large and clean. However, this hotel is quite remote. Nothing is nearby or within walking distance. And the food here was less than impressive. Not inedible, just bland and boring.

This grounds of this hotel are beautiful. It is much nicer than the photos posted would suggest. The hotel is set on a nice secluded beach. Being a volcanic island the beach sand is grey which makes for a nice change. A good thing about staying in this area is that it is drier than many of the others places... More

The "remote" aspect in the title of this review may not be appealing to all. However, my girlfriend and I enjoyed this lush, friendly & quiet resort last February. This review is a bit late, but since we are most likely returning to CR in a month or so, I thought I'd write up a helpful review. The resort is... More

This isn't a hotel, it is a series of buildings(4 plex) and all rooms offer a pleasant patio and great access to a beautiful pool. The best and worst part of Casa Conde is its' location.$30.00 for a taxi into Playa Coco. I loved staying here, friendly staff, monkeys and smack dab on the beach.Be ready to relax, because there isn't... More

My mum, her husband and I came to Costa Rica for a family member's wedding. All of the other guests and the wedding party decided to stay at the Hilton Papagayo, where the wedding was being held. My mum, wanting to save money, found the Casa Conde del Mar, a cheaper place about five minutes away. The first day we... More

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Conde del Mar for the last two nights of our Gate 1 8 day fly and drive vacation. The resort was very nice. Our room was huge and very clean, but felt a little dated with saggy beds. The pool area at the hotel was fantastic. The best part of the resort... More

We found this gem at the last minute--not realizing that the location we had chosen for our "last night" in CR was so far away from the Liberia airport. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Pool is clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the restaurant very much, eating both lunch and dinner here since we didn't have a car (or the... More

We had a very relaxing couple days. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, and the pool was awesome. Great place to stay if you want to relax and get way from things. If you don't have a car you will need to take a taxi or tour to go anywhere. Playa Coco and Playa Hermosia are great places to... More

Let's be clear: This is not a high-end resort ("resort" is a misnomer here) and it is nothing like the Papagayo. But if you want a quiet, pretty, clean hotel on a beautiful, deserted beach at a reasonable price, this place is ideal. Yes, as one reviewer wrote, there is little to do on the property or in the area.... More
