Beautiful white sand beach!! The water is warm here and has a soft sandy bottom with a very shallow slope into the water that you can walk out into for a long way. Protected by the barrier reef there are no breakers on the beach, just a beautiful place to swim. One of the few natural sand beaches in Belize... More

We stayed in the newer apartments on our first trip to Belize's best kept beach secret! The apartments are really nice with comfortable beds and a well appointed kitchen/breakfast room, with everything you need if you want to do some self catering to stretch the budget. But telly addicts will have to go cold turkey - so bring a good... More

A stunningly beautiful stretch of beach and very well kept garden and facilities. We stayed at room no. 1 with an outdoor shower. We were pleasantly surprised with comfy mattresses and pillows, cleanliness and especially with the shower. It's only a few steps from the backdoor of your room and by far the best we came across in Belize. The... More

2 couples, lifetime friends shared a fabulous ocean front apartment, the Cocoplum. Tricia, our innkeeper was fantastic! She did everything possible to make our vacation a dream come true! She arranged taxi, provided immaculate housing,(with environmentally sustaining practices) suggested activities, hooked us up with Noawell & Bigge for snokeling, bikes, assisted with car rental, and generally made sure we were... This was the first place we stayed in Belize, and we loved it. The hosts are helpful and friendly, the location is great, and you can't beat the sunrises from the hammock in front of your room. The rooms are clean and well kept, and the whole place has a cared for feel about it. Highly recommended.

I just left yesterday morning and I'm already homesick for my little cabin on the beach. My husband and I spent a wonderful week in the cabin. It is very cozy and comfortable. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot. The kitchenette is stocked with dishes and silverware. There are three or four grocery stores in Hopkins stocked with... More

My spouse and I spent four nights at Tipple Tree Beya. We stayed in the backyard cabin, which was very simple but comfortable, furnished with double bed, a futon, a small kitchen, a picnic table, two hammocks and a clothe line under the cabin. It is not a luxury place, but everything clean, well tended and functioning. The garden is... More

After spending five days in Caye Caulker, we took the bus down to Hopkins and settled in at Tipple Tree for the week. We had originally booked only four nights, leaving the weekend open to see whether we'd like it or not, but we liked it so much we extended right through. Tricia was a huge help to us in... More

Started my trip in Hopkins at the Tipple Tree Beya; what an awesome start to a Belizean adventure! The beach was wonderful, one of the best I saw. Being able to go for a warm swim at sunrise was a great start to my day. My room (the middle) was comfortable as was the hammock. Thanks for finding me a... More

The rooms were clean, as others have stated. the location right on the beach was very nice. well kept beach, furniture, and grounds. Great spot to relax and swim on the beach. Located within walking distance of everything in town. The reason we didnt rate it higher was the overall vibe and attitude we got here. Tricia had all of... More

Please don't be sorry - not everyone is a match for Tipple Tree. I wasn't any different with you than I am with any of my guests, so was a little surprised that you didn't find me welcoming, but here is one of the great things about Hopkins - there are a lot of places to stay, for all different...
