Wonderful discovery!! After leaving Hopkins and the barking dogs my husband I discovered Mama Noots. The road - after incredibly heavy rain was an adventure, exciting to say the very least( they were amazed we made it in in a car. As apposed to a SUV. We entered the Mayflower Bocawina National Park that houses this fabulous resort. The fellow... More

Mama Noots is nearly indescribable in terms of how amazing a place can be. Everything from the accomodations, to the staff, to the overall experience was incredible. I have lived in Europe and visited many places, and I assure you that you will not find better cuisine, staff, and accomodations all in one place, and in the middle of the... More

My partner and I stayed there for 1 week. The site is lush, lovely and full of life. Its a magic place to enjoy amazing views of forests, mountains, waterfalls, jungle ecosystems, flowers and a wide array of wildlife from birds and mammals to butterflies, leaf-cutter ants, etc. I am a wildlife biologist and there was every opportunity available in... Not sure where to start…thanks to EVERYONE HERE: Paul for feeding us so well; Said and Orlando for the great service at the restaurant (and special thanks to Orlando for trying so hard to keep my water glass full--Orlando, I'm sending you a snake and I'll have Greg deliver it in his backpack for you); Amir for the delicious drink... My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best time! It is in the middle of the jungle with beautiful landscaping and eco-friendly. We felt immersed, not separated, from the culture. We did the all-inclusive package, which includes 5 excursions and all meals. The meals at the resort are fabulous, and locally sourced. The excursions are... More

This is just an incredible place to stay. We stayed in huge Mayan Rooms, which were small, but perfect for us, as we don't traditionally hang out in the room anyways. The whole staff, and I mean everyone, is incredibly nice and willing to go the extra mile. The grounds are breathtaking, as well as the hikes to local waterfalls.... More

We ate at the restaurant at Mama Noots after completing a zip line tour. When we first arrived, there was one other table, who'd just been served lunch. It took about 10 - 15 minutes for someone to take our order, typical Belize rhythm, but after ziplining for so long, I would've really liked a glass of water sooner. However,... More

This is a top-notch, small, jungle oasis. We stayed 4 nights in the lovely Garden Suite. We had mentioned in an email it was our 10th anniversary. We arrived to find "Happy 10th Anniversary" written out in hisbiscus flowers and towels shaped into swans on the bed. Other fresh flowers adorned the room. The staff was equally sweet and attentive... More

We stayed at Mama Noots for 3 nights on a recent trip to Belize. The cabins were extra nice with lots of extra room and very clean. We did some hiking and of course we did the Zip Line!! First one we had ever done and it was awsome!! We were going to do more hiking, but the weather made... More
