Trisha's little place is beautiful! You're not getting a five Star resort but if you go to Hopkins that's hopefully not what you're looking for. I arrived late after a long travel day and was sat down at the table with the rest of the "family" to enjoy a lovely home cooked dinner. The place is right on the beach... More

If you are looking for laid back, on the beach with a good swimming place, then this is the place for you. For the budget conscience, I would recommend the dorm room which has 3 single beds and 2 separate rooms with a double bed each all sharing a common toilet and sink. The showers are cold and separate. The... More

wow, this place is horrible. the management, sanitation, book keeping, meals, etc. really set the bar low. virtually any other lodging in Belize will shine compared to the Kismet Inn. the owner is very difficult to deal with and regrettably, my friends in the village say she has issues with drug addiction. the Inn is located at the north end... A mixed review here, it is a quirky little place.I can see why some arty type people might enjoy this. I however found the place dirty and smelly. There was a mouse in our room and a toad in the bathroom. The rooster crowed all night not just in the morning so I couldn't sleep. The owner is very helpful... More

We stayed here by chance as we had arrived two days earlier into Hopkins than planned. Our prebooked place full : we followed the rainbow signs and found a patch of gold. True it wont be to everyone's taste however the eclectic, artsy , upcycled , recycled style suits us and we loved our two nights there. Tricia is a... More

The Real Belize! I arrived in Hopkins and was looking for a place that represented the real Belize and all that it has to offer. Stayed at a hostel before this place for a few days and decided to search on for another place that I could stay a little bit longer at, and at the same time learn what... More

We stayed in the cabana for a night. We got to our room to find rat droppings littering our bed sheet. We were told by a very high owner that two people had spent the night and she claims that she had just washed their sheets. She also said they ran away at 5 am. We found out why. We... More

Kismet Inn is not for those who need to have an uptown hotel experience. Kismet is an eclectic artsy kind of a place with lots of eye candy. Painted in refreshing bright colors and well maintained. There is always cleanup, and maintenance going on behind the scenes. The sheets are clean, the bathrooms are clean. Even when things are not... More

After slogging through the Guatemalan and Belizean Jungle for a couple of weeks - we settled into the welcome beachfront of the Kismet Inn. What a blessed relief to be sitting on the beach wrapped in the gentle caress of the breezes off of the Caribbean Sea. Our host, Tricia, is as cool as they come - definitely quirky and... More

This is a hard one to review, and I've reviewed quite a few I may say... We took a little cabana right on the beach... Closer to the water, we would have swam all night! Tricia is very nice and quite the free spirit to say the least. The room itself is semi-clean, the sheets and towel were fresh but... More
