Stayed here for 4 nights on way home from New Zealand. Nice hotel and good service, good not bad either. Lovely. Each but shame you can't swim due to the jellyfish! We didn't anywhere other than the hotel as didn't like the look of some nearby restaurants when you see them in daylight - ugh!

Love this hotel and to me it's the best in Batu Feringghi area. Rooms are well appointed with very comfortable bedding. All rooms look towards the sea and at night, the sound of waves hitting the shore is sweet lullaby! Pool area is wonderful with plenty of sun. A short walk out of the hotel along the night market, is... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 10day stay at the Lone Pine Hotel in Batu Ferringhi. This is our third visit to Penang and we have stayed at the Lone Pine on each occasion. This is the first visit since the refurbishment has been completed. The new rooms are very very comfortable. The reason we keep going back to... More

This is a great hotel, well located, relatively large rooms, comfortable bedding, easy to work air on, clean towels, good cleaning service etc. all the things you would expect from a relatively upmarket beach resort hotel. This hotel has the best pool in penang. 27m long, ideal for a few laps in the morning before breakfast and lots of room... More

Good points. 1. Clean big comfortable rooms! 2. Friendly staff that will go all out to assist. 3. The environment is relaxing and great! Some minor annoyances while I was here. 1. This hotel is getting rather popular with hosting events on their garden grounds. May I suggest to the hotel management to find a way to let their other... More

We had previously stayed at E&O and as attending a wedding at their sister hotel The Lone Pine Pinang booked in for 2 nights with our family ! What a total difference to the E&O! The bedding had stains and the service was v slow! Breakfast wasn't anywhere like the E&O orders for tea or coffee took anything up to... More

We stayed here with our 18 month old son and all really enjoyed it. The hotel is right on the beach and has some lovely grounds with huge trees and hammocks. The pool was lovely and they had a good kids pool as well. If you have a young child then choose a deluxe room as the daybed area is... More

It was my first stay in this hotel which was recommended to me by a friend. I did not regret my choice at all. The place, the hotel, the environment, the rooms with direct view to the shore and the waves sound when you are sleeping or waking up. Everything is making this place amazing! The staff is really careful,... More

This hotel is the "So Called sister hotel to The E & O". The management of the E & O need to get involved here. The rooms are very nice and so are the lawns but that as far as you can go. Breakfast is awful, egg station cold and all eggs are underdone by a minute. I took by... More
