Flew here from KL for 4 nights. Seemed to be a busy place, lots of people checking in for their honeymoon when we were there. Journey was much quicker from the airport than expected - only 40mins or so and the hotel is placed nicely at the end of the "strip". Smooth check-in with some good offers, like 20% off... More

Had a great time with family including 2 teenagers. Rooms were nice but I didn't read the hotel blurb in detail and was surprised that we didn't have a balcony. If you are on the tennis court side as we were, look out for the monkeys in the morning! Lovely pools and gardens. It's a shame the prices in the... More

Research on Tripadvisor pointed this hotel to best met our needs. Right on all counts. A central location. Large room. A good breakfast selection. Nice tropical landscaped grounds and well maintained pool area. While beach had coarse sand it was still very pleasant for an early morning walk while it was still cool. George Town is short bus ride from... More

We have just got married at the Parkroyal Penang in October and would like to thank all the staff involved. They were so helpful and did anything to make the planning of the wedding easier for us. The staff even got to know who belonged to our group which was a nice touch. The hotel itself is still great &... More

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Malaysia and we stayed here for 6 days. It was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in, the pool was amazing and the surrounding gardens were kept beautifully, there was also a great atmosphere in the entire hotel. I also put on about 5 kilos as the... More

We stayed here for a week in early October. The whole family had a very relaxing stay. There were plenty of activites to keep the kids happy, they especially enjoyed the House Tour, where they were shown how the hotel runs, went into staff-rooms,baked cookies with the chefs (and were given a generous amount to keep), learnt how to fold... Recently returned from a trip to Malaysia. Spent first four days relaxing at the Park Royal. Having read about the Park Royal on tripadvisor we were not disappointed when we arrived. The gardens, pool and beach are all pleasant; the staff friendly and helpful; and the hotel and room clean and tidy. Had a room with a partial sea view... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a great location in Batu Ferringhi with a great beach, great places to eat in the vicinity and the night markets along the main stretch. The hawker market just down the main road (towards the Shangri-La Golden Sands) is a fab place to eat in the evening and incredibly reasonable.... More

Our first time to Penang and the hotel was generally ok but was quite expensive for grand deluxe seaview rooms which were not big or special in any way. Area around hotel pretty run down with limited selection of restaurants and nothing much else but footpath choking stalls with little of interest to sell. Watch out for the water sport... More

The Hotel was fantastic the staff were so friendly and very attentive always willing to help in many ways. The breakfasts were incredible such a marvellous selection of multi cultural foods not to mention the talented chefs and smiling waiters and waitresses. I took some time out to visit St Gregory the Hotel's Spa little did I know that my... More
