We hadn't booked anything before arriving in Batu Ferringhi and were really happy when we found lazy boys. The beach and restaurants are only two minutes walk and there is a supermarket 30 seconds away. The rooms were really cheap and came with air con which for the price we paid compared to elsewhere in malaysia was brilliant. The owner... More

This place is very standard. When I arrived I mentioned that I would stay for a day or two and I felt very pressured to commit to staying the second day. The owner/manager stood over me questioning me until I committed to staying the second night. In hindsight, I wish I had only stayed one and stayed the second night... More

I am really confused about the reviews on this place. Firstly, i am a backpacker on a budget which is why i chose to stay here as its the cheapest option in the area. So i am used to staying in absolute dumps and did so throughout my time in India before i reached Malaysia. Our room was just a... More

After reading TripAdvisor reviews, we decided on Lazy Boy's for the 2 days at Batu Ferringhi. The folks the were as the description goes very relaxed and laidback, but in the positive way naturally. Everything was clean and tidy, and our host were very keen on giving recommendations and helping out with where to eat, hostels at next destination and... More

Me and my boyfriend arrived on Christmas day and we were straight away given some christmas hats and invited to the barbecue party that would be held that night at the lodge. We had a great welcoming from Azlan and Izan, who were super friendly, very helpful, very generous, always around to talk and have fun with the guests, and... More

LazyBoys is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the beach at Batu Ferringhi. But to reach the centre of Georgetown it takes more than 1 hour by bus. Otherwise, the atmosphere is very friendly and the brothers who manage the GH are very helpful. The only thing that prevents from staying at LazyBoys next time is... More

Me and my friend went to Batu Ferrenghi to get out of Georgetown for some days. We had no idea where to stay, so we were just walking around looking when this guy from a restaurant tried to convince us to eat at his place. When we explained we wanted to find a guesthouse first, he showed us the way... More

I stayed here for a night in one of the air-conditioned, private rooms. Travelled with my husband, my 7-yr old daughter and 9-month baby. The room we stayed in was very small and basic but most importantly, clean. Bathroom was spotless with hot, power showers. Air-conditioning was good too. You could use a shared sink outside to brush your teeth.... More
