We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Dwyka camp. The tent cabins are beautiful and the view from the deck was amazing. It almost feel if you're staying at the end of the world with the beautiful mountains surrounding you. The staff was very friendly, helpful and we could see that they enjoy their work. We've been to... More

Sanbona is an unexpected surprise with beautiful facilities and attentive staff. The views of the Little Karoo countryside are superb and we are fortunate enough to be here when all the flowers are coming out. We were fortunate to have a close encounter with a cheetah and her cubs on a springbok kill which added to the overall experience. The... More

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Dwyka. The tent cabins are amazing, food was great and we had some great game drives. Our guide Carelien was great, she was very knowledgeable and such a pleasure to be around. We found all of the staff very attentive. They went above and beyond when they served us a romantic dinner in our... More

Stayed at the lodge for 1 night with 2 safari Trips. We travelled the comfortable drive from Stellenbosch up to Sanbona in the morning arriving just after noon. Once you have signed in through the main gate the roads get progressively worse and we where glad we had booked a transfer from the welcome lodge. We where provided with a... More

We stayed in Tilney Manor and were treated like royalty! The staff and service were fantastic; we couldn't have asked for better. Our ranger, Stefan, was great - really enthusiastic and knew his stuff. We learnt a lot and enjoyed some incredible experiences (and encounters!) with a wide variety of wild animals living in a natural environment. The lodges at... More

I was travelling with a group of photographers friends, in South Africa and Namibia, and our stay at Sanbona Dwyka Lodge was our treat to ourselves at the end of our holiday. What a treat it turned out to be. We had amazing service from the staff, incredible meals, wonderful accommodation in the 'tents' - everything, but everything, was first... More

We just spent 2 nights at Dwyka, the newly revamped lodge of Sanbona. If it is remoteness, luxury and romance you are looking for, this camp is for you. The tented room structures are huge and leave nothing to be desired. The outdoor private jacuzzi were indeed blissful, especially after coming back from the game drive in winter. There is... More

This was my fourth trip to Sanbona. This time we chose to stay at Dwyka - wow! It was all I hoped for, and more. The tents are beautiful and very comfortable. The hot tub on the deck was great - lovely after a cold game drive. The meals were tasty - good choices at each meal. The bush lunch... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2015

We stayed here in early June and were unfortunately caught up in a "once in 10 years" rain storm which took out the power, phones and the roads. Unfortunately, Dykwa had not installed generators - we were told it was in the plan -- so we lost the day's safari and barely got out of the park on the day... More

We stayed in Tinley Manor in June 2015 and all has been perfect thanks to the professionality of the staff. Food, accomodation, rooms, the landscape... and of course the game drives were wonderful. My two teenagers children were delighted by our rangers Alwin. Unfortunately we didn't succeded to see all the big 5 (only 3 of them, actually), but Alwin... More
