Delightful B & B. Louise, the owner, was very helpful, to the degree of phoning us a number of times prior to our leaving, as to whether the roads to Montagu and the guest house were open. There was extensive rain which washed away the approach road to Montagu and submerged the causeway to the B & B. We had... More

We found the Villa Victoria to be a lovely place. We stayed for 2 nights in July and caught a nice sunny weekend. But it was still very cold at nights. The views from our room (in the loft upstairs, SAGE room) were gorgeous, that must be said. Something that we didn't mind but others might, the breakfast table is... More

We had 2 nights here, we found the place delightful with lots of character and charm. The Manager, Louise was extremely friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast served by Lucy who was also very helpful. Very good location and super garden.

I was in Montagu for a friend's wedding and needed to stay overnight. I chose the Villa Victoria and was so disappointed that I wasn't able to stay longer. What a tranquil spot. On the edge of this really quaint dorp, this b&b really is a home away from home. I stayed in one of the loft rooms, which has... More

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed the tranquility of the place. We had a lovely loft room. The attention to detail is what we appreciated. Very lovely. The loft room was spacious and had good views, also it was very quiet. It must be noted that all the little touches like fresh roses, ground coffee for the plunger,... More

We spent five nights at Villa Victoria and were very sad to leave this charming place. We truly felt at home and often had the entire place to ourselves. The Victorian furnishing, rose garden, four poster bed and lovely bathroom, with the ball and claw bath, lent a wonderfully romantic atmosphere to the last week of our honeymoon. The mountain... Villa Victoria is a fantastic venue - Louise is an amazing hostess and really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are gorgeous and the house itself is an absolute gem - classic features, wooden floors, decor etc. The garden is amazing - so amazing in fact that my wife and I got engaged there.... More

This must be one of the best kept sectrets in the whole area. Beautiful rooms, fantastic garden and wonderful staff that would go all the way in making it a wonderful stay. The breakfast is a bliss... Especially Louise's egg specialities and Lucy's humour and great service! You'll miss out if you don't go there! Tertius & Jan-Willem

Our very rare weekend away from our children was made all the more amazing by our visit to Villa Victoria where were treated like royalty. Our room was spotless and so cosy and stylishly decorated that we didn't want to leave it. The chandelier, victorian style bath, skylights affording amazing mountain views and beautiful linen all added to the perfect... More
