We were due to arrive at Tranquillity the day before the cyclone, but on their advice delayed in Port Vila til it passed and they were able to clear up a bit. So a few days post-Pam we were transported across Havannah Harbour to a resort that was in some ways very changed, and in other ways exactly as we... More

Hello Jagray, Great to here that you enjoyed your stay with us particularly that you were in Port Vila and experienced cyclone Pam yourselves first hand but were still wanting to have your time with us at Tranquillity afterwards. We were so pleased that our coral reef was not really affected and that you enjoyed your snorkelling and that your... More

We spent 7 days on the Island in late January and had an awesome time. We were looking for somewhere quiet to relax and Tranquility was the perfect place for this. The rooms were basic but at the same time comfortable and all that you needed. The Managers Bill and Lisa made us feel welcome right from the start and... More

Thanks fro the review AG, The managers certainly try hard in looking after guests as well as our other staff. The cooks appreciate good feedback and do a pretty good job on the island. Snorkelling at tranquillity can be great fun and the vibrant coral growth on some of our spots is some of the best around. good to hear... More

Spent Chrissy with Bill & Lisa solo. Cannot remember ever being so well looked after. Food was great. Stayed in the Dorm fare which was better than I expected and was quite comfortable. Dived every day and always found something that interested me. Both Bill & Lisa are excellent guides .The staff are very friendly and helpful and the resort... More

Hello Pete, good to hear that you enjoyed Christmas with the team out at tranquillity. we tried to put on a few specials for the Christmas lunch etc., and good to hear that your stay in the dorm was better than expected. It is a special for the school groups which come regularly each year and they have a ton... More

Great place and great management. A great balance between adventure and relaxation! I would defiantly go back again! The rooms were great if you are up for a Eco resort style stay. A great way to get back to nature. Meals provided were also fantastic.

We spent 8 days at Tranquility on the week leading up to Christmas. As are large group of divers at different certification levels, the team managed to find interesting dives for all of us every day. Dive sites around the island are great and all within easy reach, special recommendation goes to Owen's Reef and the wreck of the MS... More

Good to hear that you had a great Holiday. Owens reef is always a favourite no matter how many times you dive it, always something different to see. The Belama wreck, not Bulimba is a nice easy wreck dive. Easy to get the name mixed up a bit but the name Belama is a Solomon Island language name for the... More

As a diver and snorkeller I was looking for somewhere Robinson Crusoe style to relax and wind down. Tranquillity Island Resort is ideal for the lone traveller or a family who doesn't want to spent vast amounts on a glitzy resort but still want all the mod cons. I just loved it, I had very gracious hosts in Bill and... More

Much too expensive for such a run down place. It might be ok if you are a diver but if not it's not worth staying there. The bungalow is old and run down. They are hiding the need for renovation behind the label "eco"! If you love big spiders then this is the place to be! They are everywhere -... More

My daughter and I stayed for 4 fantastic nights on Tranquillity and could have stayed forever. Beautiful location, basic but lovely accomodation and such great staff. Bill and Lisa are wonderful hosts and thanks to Lisa's immense patience I got comfortable diving in record time. Moso is gorgeous, the water is incredibly clear and the diving was exceptional. We are so glad we decided to come to Moso Island and stay at Tranquility for a night. It is about a 30 to 40 minute drive over to Havanah Harbour from Port Vila and we were taken over to Moso on the resort dive boat. Bill and Lisa are dive masters and they manage the resort. They are wonderful... More

We have been diving around the globe for the past few months and no other dive site has compared to tranquility island. With crystal clear waters and incredible coral you are sure to see many rare sea creatures (we even sighted the age old nautilus). High quality dive gear and trained instructors, the friendly staff will make you feel at... More
