We stayed end of June beginning of July and had a wonderful holiday in this lovely family run Hotel, we were made to feel very welcome by Laki, Catherine and there two lovely daughters. The room was very comfortable with a lovely sea view, breakfast was always served with a smile and a friendly chat. This Hotel is spotlessly clean... More

Very quiet location, about 20 minutes drive from the port. Sea view from room which was OK but shower/wc a bit cramped. Breakfasts were the same daily - no choices, and dinner "specials" were uninspiring and overpriced for what they were. With hindsight, we should have stayed in Hermoupolis with its extensive range of restaurants, and commuted to the beach... More

We stayed in July and were made very welcome by Iak, Catherine and their daughter. It is out of town but that is why we chose it ; there is a bus stop about 5 minutes from the Hotel which can take you to the main town. As the bus route is circular there is shorter and a longer route... More

Many guests come back here year after year and it's easy to understand why. This is no luxury hotel but it has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. Everything is spotlessly clean and the place is very well cared for. The pool is lovely and there's also a singles tennis court which no-one seems to use. There is... More

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We missed our ferry so arrived a day late and they were there to meet us at the ferry port. The hotel is well located to see all of Syros and the bus network is very well run to get around the island. The hotel staff were so helpful in telling us times... More

This hotel is everything we expected and more.  We read the Trip Advisor reviews and were very impressed by what people were saying , so we booked a nine day vacation.  This hotel was impeccably clean throughout.  Whether  you are in the lobby, your guest room, dining area or pool deck, you quickly come to realize that this family run... This hotel certainly is a treasure. Travelled to Syros looking for a relaxing start to our honeymoon and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The positive reviews here are all spot on - lovely, peaceful location with spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. A great pool just yards away from the hotel was the perfect... Staff is very Nice, so is the rest of the hotel. Great hotel to explore Syros! Syros is definately worth visiting, it was a pleasure to end the vacation there after some exhausting days on busy mykonos! A lot less tourists, and more greek! With normal shops, not only souvenir shops. Also good for shopping:)

I wasn't planning to go to Greece but my mother and sister told me about this great hotel they were staying at through a very long and entertaining email. They invited me to come and share in their experience with this very kind and friendly family. As soon as I arrived, I felt like I had come home. It's very... More

Before staying at Alkyon, we always thought it did not make sense to go to the same place twice because the world is vast and there are so many other things to see. And yet, this is precisely what we did this September: we went back to that lovely hotel and its marvellous owners Jacobos & Catherine for the second... More
